Heads up! Four F/A-18 aircraft will conduct operations at LGB from Friday afternoon (11/15) to Sunday morning (11/17). Dates and times are tentative and subject to change. These aircraft are significantly louder than aircraft that typically operate at LGB.

@richontech I try to send messages at times when I think I'll get the best response, independent of Do Not Disturb. Messaging someone at their 10PM probably won’t yield as good of a result as messaging at 10AM

Is it OK to text someone at off hours and just assume their phone is on do not disturb? Or are you supposed to wait until business hours?

@thewealthdad Many of the larger holdings in VTSAX look similar to the larger holdings in VGT (albeit w/ different allocations). I presume you are using VGT to skew your portfolio towards tech, but does the added expense ratio (for many of the same larger holdings) concern you? Or, non-issue?

After completing my Roth IRA conversion tomorrow, and the wifes early next week Our portfolio will be only ~$13,000 away from $300,000+ invested The $12,000 in total Roth conversions will go into $VTSAX The next $13,000 (to get to $300k) will go into $VGT via our brokerage

@kvlly It'd be so nice if services like this could print and mail the labels to you, too! I print once every 3-4 months, which translates to either 3-4 hours troubleshooting my inkjet printer, or a drive to the print shop!

I just used stamps.com for the first time and I'm never going to a post office ever again. So easy to print labels.

It's less about contract vs. full time, and more about getting the right people with the right knowledge and calibration systems in place. Otherwise, sustainable software is just plain hard, regardless of the billing model. Everything else is KPI alignment and comp logistics
