My patient told me : When I was 14 I told my therapist that my step father had been abusing me physically and sexually.
My very next session, I walked in and he was in the room waiting.
My therapist told him everything I said, then made me sit there and listen while she explained how every instance I had trusted her with was just one misunderstanding after the next.
If this wasnt bad enough, I was then made to apologize and go home with him.

It's no a surprise that the concept of a control group would elude TRAs. In general, TRAs have opposed using control groups (eg: where meds are withheld). Here's Jack Turban expressing opposition to studies that would produce strong evidence (RCTs) and use control groups.

Those memorials are all nonprofits sitting on otherwise taxable land. The taxpayer always ends up footing the bill.
And that’s just the thing, no other group in America feels the need to build thousands of memorials and dozens of major museums to commemorate their foreign ancestors struggles and tribulations. But that’s a topic for another post. Have a nice day.

1. There’s literally a giant ass Holocaust Memorial smack in the middle of Boston. It’s like a whole friggin park. They have tour guides and everything.
2. The Holocaust didn’t even happen in America. The victims weren’t even American. Why TF does every city in America need *multiple* memorials/museums dedicated to this foreign historical event???
