Got robbed by @bookingcom. When changing the email associated to a user account, the rewards wallet is no longer linked to the user account 🤦‍♂️💸

@bookingcom In my case I forced to change my booking email address due to your partnership with AMZN Prime. This is IMO totally unacceptable and I was not expecting a company like @bookingcom to be either so stupid or deceitful.

@skoerbitz If you change back the email address or create a new account with the original email address, you will be able to see the reward back. We understand that it can sound confusing, but this is done like this for security purposes. Let us know if you have any other question. 2/2

@bookingcom This is either daylight robbery or the dumbest tech solution I have heard of. If you allow customers to change their email address then a wallet needs to be linked to another UUID. I don‘t want to know how many of your customers already lost their rewards because of this. 1000s?
