TEA’s Teacher Vacancy Task Force final report focused on three key areas: Compensation, Training/Support, & Working Conditions… Overall, it’s a solid start to addressing needs. Part of improving working conditions is easing some of the undue stress accountability causes. How would parents feel if we said their child scored in the “zone of uncertainty” until further notice on one of our assessments? #txed teachers are overwhelmed, especially post-COVID. #txlege
