I think they saw what Twitter would become in the hands of the market and it wasn’t what they wanted.

Social media is a cancer and Elon Musk is an asshat. I don’t know which it is; that it took us this long to recognize the cancer, or that Elon ruined it.

@cabel I have always found Panic to be a source of inspiration and fervent supporters of all things innovative and fun. The positive energy is infectious and much needed!

All of Panic is getting together this week in PDX for a jamboree! So I have a favor to ask: Do you have any good memories of Panic, how we’ve helped you, or any thoughts about our weird company? If so, please reply, when you can! I’d love to share with everyone. Thank you 🙏

@patriottakes Not a Trumper, just a professional designer. This is completely photoshopped.

@round Are there people who still call themselves “website designers?” If so, this feels like it could really help them.

@mrBallistic I bought some chains recently for my Tacoma and noticed they've got these things called "tire socks." No idea how they good they are, but I am thinking of them for my other, low-clearance vehicle.

I gotta believe @BubbaWallace had it with a head of steam and a cut to the inside at the finish. Tough race and tremendous grit to pull off a top ten.

@mulegirl +1 for Challenger. We watched it in our 1st grade classroom live. Although, Gulf War 1 or 9/11 are close.

@skuwamoto Had a similar thought this morning. It would make sense that the appearance AI would be a precursor. As well as quantum computing.

If the simulation hypothesis were a valid form of argument, what type of history would a society want to simulate?
Mathematically speaking, what percentage of their simulations would be run about the point in time when, say, AI was starting to arise?

@YezzyWazGud I think we’re seeing a change from buying $500 worth of an artist’s albums to buying $500 of live performances. The cool thing is that the live shows can vary in cost, but the value is independent. Benefits both big and small creators and disrupts the record company gatekeepers.

I know this sounds pretentious af but maybe if you listened to artists that aren’t the top 50 most popular in the world, you wouldn’t have this problem 💀. I literally just bought a ticket for Freddie Gibbs for $36 and he’s one of the most well respect rappers out rn
em 🖤@cemeterycultist

bands & concerts are eventually going to outprice themselves and become only for the wealthy because who realistically has $500 laying around to pay for a ticket 😭 not most teens + people in their 20's who are the main demographic going to shows
