In his last seven games as a starter, he's averaged 12/5/2 with 2.0 STK (26 FP) in 20.3 MPG. Strus appeared in his first game this season in yesterday's loss to the Mavericks, playing 23 minutes and posting 24/8/1. Notably, Sam Merrill and Jaylon Tyson were both absent for that game -- two key players that Strus will be competing with for minutes, not to mention guys like Keon Ellis and Dean Wade. Last season, Strus produced a pretty well-rounded stat profile but was primarily useful as a three-point shooter for category leagues. I think that will shift even more toward the three-point side this season given all the high-usage players on the team, especially James Harden. Still, I'm intrigued by Strus as an add (mostly in deep leagues), especially when the Cavs have no upcoming back-to-backs and are going up against three bad defenses in Milwaukee on Tuesday, Chicago on Thursday and New Orleans on Saturday.
