Git for humans. Git for agents. Same 16 agents pushing commits for one minute. 8 pushes/sec on GitHub, 331/sec on Entire.

@mitchellh @bradgessler Gold Coast, Australia. Beaches like you've never experienced before. Theme parks like you've never experienced before. Theatres like you've probably experienced before, but it's getting better. This place, is well, just bloody beautiful!

@mitchellh @bradgessler aside from having no meetings with leadership of influential companies, I can think of one other places that may top California.

Hello, everyone who enjoyed the Order of the Sinking Star demo! We have posted a TECHNICAL UPDATE for the demo on Steam, in a beta branch. To try it, you go to the Properties for the game, go to Game Versions & Betas, and pick public-testing (no password). Details next tweet:

🚨 FYI, fellow pkg maintainers: (This was news to me, at least) Bad actors are pushing "Verified" co-authored commits to further appear legitimate. They set me as the authoring user & tried to use their own GPG key to pass it off as mine. Reported: github.com/lukeed/resolve…

pracht just shipped a big release 🎉 Full-stack Preact where you pick the render mode per route — SPA, SSR, SSG, or ISG — in one app, deploying to Node, Cloudflare, or Vercel. What's new 🧵

Landed in SYD. First time needing to declare anything at customs ever. I have $1752 AUD in Amp logo swag, which exceeds the $900 AUD duty-free allowance. Wish me luck!

@slightlycode I have only ever been to Sydney, but if the rest of the country is even 1/10th as great as Sydney, I want to get to more places here. No Brisbane this trip, heading back on Sat morning.

@sqs Headed up to Brisbane by chance? When you headed back, I might have to do a trip down otherwise!

I've been directed to line 1. All very friendly. The other people in line seem unhappy to be here. I'm happy.

@aarondfrancis @joshu it's interesting to me that folk switch harness so often. Genuinely curious, why?

@joshu I use (and built) soloterm.com which has a built in mcp server that exposes both markdown and todo primitives. I constantly switch between Codex, Amp, and Claude and they all read/write from there or talk directly to each other.

anyone use a document store to centralize stuff between various coding agents and the ai chatbot interfaces and so on?

Can amp store the thread against commit hashes? If the agent needs additional context, amp can surface that from commits an agent wants to learn more about. I get why Amp, Copilot, Claude etc wanna sign off on commits, but subjectively i've never liked it. I don't let the LLM think for me, I take responsibility for my commits, and don't want an AI to sign off on them as though it approves. haha

you want to stop the Amp thread URL from being in commit messages in Amp orb threads? yeah, you can't configure this globally in orbs now, but you can put the setting from ampcode.com/manual in .amp/settings.json in your repo. we will make this globally configurable. curious: why do you dislike it? not disputing there are valid reasons to dislike it, just curious what yours are. it does help the agent understand why a change was made.

Do I know anyone at GitHub who can help us with an urgent issue right now? We're lost in a maze of limits and budgets and our Action runners are shut down. We have our credit cards out. But there's no way, apparently, for us to increase limits. Ticket: /ticket/enterprise/641414/4521981

A few years ago, I released a tiny utility for object canon's in JavaScript. I recently picked it back up and, well, got a little carried away. 😅 Reintroducing `object-identity` v0.2 🎉 → 535B → zero dependencies → ~2× faster than v0.1 → the fastest canon I've benchmarked github.com/maraisr/object…

It handles more than plain JSON: → Arrays, Sets, and Maps → Dates and RegExps → ArrayBuffer → deeply nested structures → circular references → and more! And still comes in ~1.5× faster than the fastest alternative, at ~4.5× smaller. 🚀
