I strongly condemned Israel’s ongoing aggression against Lebanon and offered condolences over the loss of thousands of precious lives in Lebanon as a result of these hostilities. I reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to advance peace efforts, including facilitating dialogue through the upcoming Iran–U.S. talks in Islamabad. Grateful to Prime Minister Nawaf Salam who expressed his appreciation for Pakistan’s peace efforts and underscored the need for our continued support in securing an immediate end to the attacks targeting Lebanon and its people.

Had a most warm and cordial conversation with my friend Chancellor Christian Stocker of Austria today. Fondly recalled our meeting in Vienna and appreciated his strong endorsement of Pakistan’s sincere efforts that helped secure the Iran–U.S. ceasefire and brought both sides back to the negotiating table. We agreed that it would be imperative for all sides to uphold the ceasefire and continue their efforts towards a lasting peace in the region and beyond.

Pakistan is such a clown country - Things between Iran and America were already sorted. - America wanted to end this war but didn’t want to show the world that they were backing out in fear. - So they asked Pakistan’s PM to post a tweet requesting Donald Trump to stop the war. - Pakistan, in greed for a loan, agreed to America’s conditions and posted the tweet. - America used it as a reference and stopped the war by showing that Pakistan is begging them. We literally missed the biggest chance in history to show America as weak, just because of Pakistan. 🤡
