I know this is Star Trek, but it's a great case study in leadership. Every boss eventually needs to have this talk with a senior employee at some point in their career. Sometimes you have to remind people who is in charge.

Petrovich is probably right. It makes sense from the POV of Joseph’s status and the intersection of the Bnei Yisrael descendants living in Middle Kingdom Egypt. The translations work in Hebrew. It also makes more sense from the historical and chronological perspective than Phoenician/Sea Peoples alphabet being the precursor.

Shavua Tov, Some Exodus/Passover-related archeology: In the early 20th century, alphabetic inscriptions were discovered on stones at Serabit el-Khadim, an Egyptian turquoise mine in Sinai. They date from the 19th to 15th century BCE. The proto-Sinaitic script, often called, was invented by Semites at the mine, adopting Egyptian hieroglyphs as pictographic letters. Most scholars believe the language is from Canaan, but which one is debated. Douglas Petrovich argues these inscriptions were written by Israelites, with Hebrew as the underlying language. His translation of Sinai 361 includes Moses' name, but not all scholars agree, sparking debate. Notably, an alphabetic script developed when the Israelites were in Egypt, and the language is from their origin.

Some people hear doctors declare them dead, and return to say they were fully aware, hearing everything happening around them. Could this suggest that death might just be another state of consciousness?

In her new memoir, actress Christina Applegate shares devastating diary entries from the time she got pregnant but sacrificed her child in 1991. The "Married with Children" star clearly knows exactly what's happening as she chooses her career over the life of the baby, who she says "to this day, I know" was a daughter. "I love this being… I always felt that if I ever got pregnant when I knew it was the wrong time, I wouldn’t have any problem having an ab**tion. ‘Oh, whatever. It isn’t even a baby yet.’ That’s bullsh*t. This creature’s incredible- makes me feel whole, safe." *** “I’m f*cking pregnant, and I’m k*lling my child on Thursday. I’m thinking, ‘Where the f*ck can I go to recuperate from m*rder?’" Applegate went on to write a poem to the unborn baby, asking for forgiveness. "Hello, little thing. I feel you every moment of my day. Such a tiny existence. Such an immense effect you have. You are a miracle. A tiny handed miracle. I love you, but you know your fate. It’s not your time. I know you didn’t make that decision, but it can’t be your time. You will live on, though. You will live through another. I hope you will forgive me, but I want you to know how you’ve changed me. You’ve opened my eyes. You’re letting me know something is more important than myself. But mommy can’t be with you right now. But know she loves you- more than any other miracle. And know that when it’s your time it will be your time."

This is how the GOP Senate blocks Trump from recess appointments. 2 minute pro forma sessions every few days during their vacation. Only POTUS in history that has had recess appointments blocked by his own party. Think about that. Traitors. Sickening.

AI can’t do it without humans today. Discoveries are to be made, but an educated disciplined human mind is a necessary part of the AI equation. I personally believe that the AI architecture, no matter how high the memory, GPU and processors are pushed —in their current form—is able to become AGI. It is ANI architecture and AGI will require something much more complex. 10.5281/zenodo.18917210. I am a physician with 30 years of professional training in pattern recognition, cross domain trained. I wrote a paper predicting the direction in which human AI interaction might flourish, and gave it a name…aristosynthesis (optimal synthesis).

If AI can now solve math, discover physics and chemistry breakthroughs faster than human PhDs, why are we still training humans to be physicists? Serious question. Should education shift from 'learn to do X' to 'learn to direct AI doing X'? The wrong direction costs a generation their careers.

If you have been paying attention, over 3000 farms, ranches, food processing facilities, and agriculture facilities have been destroyed the last 5 years Some by plane crashes, others “unexplained” Seems we have been living under an attack on our food security for some time
