One other tangential point - I'm also seeing some decry separation scores as "for the nerds" or as evidence that you should just watch the film, bro. At least at @FantasyPtsData, those scores are literally created by watching the film. We have a team of charters that watches every single route, and scores plays based on a consistent rubric. Many "separation" sources are not this exhaustive, which is bad for a bunch of reasons not worth getting into in this already long post, but "the film matters more than your scores" is not a critique that makes sense for ASS in particular. We're all talking about film. You are, of course, always welcome to disagree with what anyone else sees on film. But as a non-film person, I'm aware enough of my strengths and weaknesses to admit I should not be relying on my own film takes over those who do it professionally. But of course, "Player X has a Y limitation on film" doesn't mean he can't score fantasy points!
