@CurioCrafterAI Huge thanks to the contributor behind PR github.com/huiung/claude-… for pushing this forward. Seeing someone jump in and build a real navigation feature into the game is kind of surreal. This is exactly why I wanted Claude Citizen to be open source. More pilots and contributors welcome.

Claude Citizen now has a Solar Atlas. Open the map in flight, inspect planets and system bodies, chart preview routes, set a destination, then close it and quantum jump there. This came from a community PR, which honestly feels amazing. Browser-only. Open source. claudecitizen.com

@smol_hu I opened my first PR to Claude Citizen I added a new Solar Atlas map on M: system view, clickable bodies/stations, preview route legs, Set Destination, focus camera, freecam, hidden UI mode, and a compact nav HUD. Hope you like it, but feel free to critique it.

Added a reason to keep flying. Claude Citizen now has loot: pirates drop glowing crates, free treasure spawns out in space, and rare gold crates pay 500cr. Pickups pull in with a little magnet snap, credit popups, and new audio feedback. Browser-only. Open source. Sound on. claudecitizen.com

I'd love to integrate that ship and it's controls into my space sim. 3space.rf.gd. It's a true scale universe system with procedural galaxies, stars, nebulas/gas giants, and I've got a basic planetary system going on my home pc. The basics/framework is in place for true scale. Just need to work on it further.

51 registered pilots in Claude Citizen. That may not sound huge, but for a tiny browser space sandbox that was basically empty yesterday, it feels unreal. Even better, people are starting to offer feedback and contributions, from procedural planet textures to economy ideas. @Sino77350XII No token/coin plans for now. I want to keep Claude Citizen focused on being a fun game first. Support for the project is very welcome, but I’m not sure yet whether it makes sense to connect that directly to the game.

@StudioZamudio Yeah, totally fair. A lot of the visuals are still rough/procedural, and the asteroids definitely have some triangle-soup energy right now. Someone’s already started a procedural texture/planet pass, so hopefully this whole side of the game starts improving soon.

@smol_hu GLM does this also, I don't know why they make the asteroids look like a clutter of triangles? I think they intend for it to be connected polys, but they end up incorrectly oriented.
