We will be talking to Rafael Stone and Ime Udoka in the next couple of days to get an idea of what direction they are going in. I want to ask you, Rocket fans, now that it's been a couple of days, what do you think the Rockets should do this summer that is REALISTIC to improve the team?

@BiasedHouston A bad experience is still a form of experience. For two years now, the old veterans have been teaching the Rockets a lesson ; either they’ll fall apart like the Grizzlies, or these kids will grow stronger from it.

I’m still speechless man. We had game 3 won. We take care of business game 4 and it’s a series again. And then they just threw it all away in 30 seconds. Series and season over just like that. To a team missing nearly 60 PPG.

@RedNinetyFour True, but he’s also playing for a coach who calls a timeout just to chew him out and bench him right after he takes a shot he felt was open. It’s hard to stay consistent with that kind of leash.

I can’t stress enough how much Sengun being back to his old self just changes everything in terms of future outlook. It felt dark there for a while. But that’s a 23 year old All-NBA caliber guy who looked on the cusp of breaking the top 10 the first month or so of the season.

@snakebron I agree that they help, but they don’t make us contenders and that’s the ultimate goal. I think there’s nothing wrong with saving our assets for the offseason instead of trying to patch a sinking ship.

Thread about Houston Rockets General Manager Rafael Stone. Long read, feel free to skip this one. I think the discussion about Rafael Stone and his “failures” as the GM of the Rockets are all based in recency bias and lack the context of his entire tenure in Houston. I think Stone has objectively done a great job during his time in Houston. He inherited a burning building, tore it down, and rebuilt it into a team that finished 2nd in the West last season with primarily young talent. This season being the only question mark on his record, and I think even the question mark needs the context that is this season has been cursed for a multitude of reasons. Below I have listed some of my favorite moves Houston Rockets general manager Rafael Stone has made in his tenure to remind people who may have forgotten: • Traded Robert Covington for a first round pick • Traded Russell Westbrook for John Wall and a first round pick • Traded James Harden for Victor Oladipo, four first round picks, and four pick swaps • Traded a second round pick that didn’t convey for Kevin Porter Jr. (I understand this didn’t age the best for off court reasons, but the on court production greatly exceeded the value of a top-55 protected SRP) • Traded PJ Tucker and a second round pick for a first round pick and two pick swaps • Drafted Jalen Green and Alperen Şengün in the first round • Traded Christian Wood for a first round pick • Drafted Jabari Smith and Tari Eason in the first round • Traded Eric Gordon for the pick swap that became Cam Whitmore • Drafted Amen Thompson in the first round • Signed Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks to great contracts • Traded expiring salary + 3 second round picks for Steven Adams • Drafted Reed Sheppard in the first round • Traded a second round pick for AJ Griffin • Extended Alperen Şengün to a STEAL of a contract • Extended Jalen Green to a very tradeable contract • Flipped Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, + pick 10 for Kevin Durant, and then extended Kevin Durant to the definition of a steal of a contract • Signed Fred VanVleet to a great extension • Found Josh Okogie on a vet min This does NOT mean Stone is without blame: • The KPJ debacle ended in disaster and cost us second round picks to repair. • I did not appreciate the way in which we let former first round picks in Josh Christopher, Usman Garuba, and TyTy Washington depreciate in value to the point where we had to PAY second round picks to dump their contracts. • The DFS signing has been a colossal failure, and that’s before you factor in all of the much needed guards we could’ve signed instead. • I think we should’ve flat out signed James Harden in 2023. To me that’s inexcusable. • The Rockets roster has lacked 3P shooters since Stone has been in office, and we to this day still do not have adequate shooters. But I think if you were to lineup all of Stone’s makes and misses compared to the rest of the league, you’d realize there are fanbases who would be BEGGING to have a GM capable of flipping a bad contract, a role player, and a first round pick for a superstar on an amazing contract. If you think what Stone has done in Houston is easy, I will direct you to all of the teams over the last couple of seasons who have failed to do the things we have done in Houston from the start of the rebuild. I think judgement day for Stone (and Ime Udoka funny enough) is at the conclusion of the Rockets upcoming offseason this summer. This a failing contender with very obvious flaws and the assets needed to address them. Stone has to make this roster a contender before next season starts, or it’s time to start considering some other options. And the scariest part about this entire process is that if Stone swings and misses this offseason, it could potentially end this iteration of the team. I do not envy his job, but I’m going to have faith until I have reason to not anymore.

@BiasedHouston I meant cheap trades like Coby/Ayo, not free agents. They don't win you a ring, but they stop the bleeding. This collapse was preventable.

@snakebron I fear none of them guards in FA are good enough to alter the outcome of this season. All that work comes in the summer.

Araçlar daha kısa süre şarj portunu işgal etsinler isteniyor. Güzel de bir Tesla ile Peugeot 3008e %20'den %85'e aynı sürede şarj olmuyor ki! Ya da 800V mimarili bir Hyundai otomobil sahibi, Plugin Hybrid bir araç sahibinin en az 4 te 1 süresinde işini çözüyor. Onun günahı ne neden porttan 15 dakikada ayrılmak zorunda. Diğer aracın %85'e gelmesi 40 dakikayı geçerken modern elektrikli araç sahipleri cezalandırılacaklar. Kimse de bir şey demiyor bu işe :) Ne güzel gerçekten. Adalet isteniyorsa şarjı maks 20 dakika ile sınırlayın. Hem sıra beklenmez hem de teknoloji kazanır.
