The way Trump’s nominee for intelligence director refused to say Biden won in 2020😆 If you look at the numbers alone, Biden was by far the most popular president of all time in 2020 with 81 million votes, destroying Obama’s count of only 69 million in 2008. This was a head scratcher for a lot of people. If he was wildly popular, why, when he visited the blue city of Houston weeks after his inauguration, did he meet with zero supporters, only protesters? I was there to cover it. Not to mention all the election anomalies in 2020. I wish Jay Clayton, in his grilling yesterday, would have been blunt with them and simply said he has serious questions and will be investigating any foreign interference.

The claim that “having all white male doctors is bad for the medical profession” starts from a false premise. Because merit based selection has never produced an “all white male” field, because ability and interest aren’t distributed that way. What the argument actually demands is the power to exclude competent white men from medicine so the demographic results match a preferred outcome regardless of competence. Patients of any background are free to seek out doctors who look like them. That preference doesn’t entitle anyone to handicap stronger candidates or dilute standards. And yes, medical competence must be measured by objective standards. “Objective according to whom?” is a category error. Objective means independent of any subject. It simply describes what works. Your real opponent here isn’t another group of people, it’s reality itself. And that’s unfortunately a common thread with leftist thinking.
