Salt water flushing is often described as a powerful gut cleansing practice because of how rapidly it stimulates bowel movement.
When a concentrated salt solution is consumed on an empty stomach, it creates an osmotic effect in the intestines. Water is drawn into the bowel, which can trigger a complete evacuation.
Many people report feeling lighter, clearer, and less bloated afterward. Rapid elimination can temporarily reduce feelings of digestive stagnation and abdominal fullness. Some also describe a mental reset effect, which may be linked to the gut brain connection and the relief that follows clearing the digestive tract.
Historically, salt water cleansing has been used in certain traditional practices as a way to stimulate the digestive system and promote internal reset. The intense flushing effect is what gives it the reputation of being powerful.
Because it significantly shifts fluid balance in the body, it should be approached carefully and not performed frequently. Individuals with high blood pressure, kidney concerns, heart conditions, or electrolyte sensitivities should avoid it unless supervised by a healthcare professional.
When used occasionally and appropriately, it is considered by some as a strong mechanical cleanse due to its rapid and forceful bowel clearing effect.

Most people don’t realise this about ginger…
When you heat ginger, its chemistry changes.
Fresh ginger contains compounds called gingerols.
But when you dry it or cook it, those gingerols convert into shogaols.
Shogaols are more potent.
It’s a simple dehydration reaction, the molecule loses water and becomes more concentrated and biologically active. That’s why dried ginger tastes hotter and feels stronger in the body.
From a terrain perspective, this matters.
Fresh ginger is gentler, more hydrating, more balancing to the digestive tract.
Heated or dried ginger is more stimulating, more circulatory, more aggressive in breaking up stagnation and mucus.
Both have their place.
If the body needs movement and stimulation, dried ginger can be powerful.
If the body is already inflamed, irritated, or highly acidic, too much heated ginger can feel overly stimulating.
The plant hasn’t changed, the chemistry has.
And once you understand that, you start choosing your herbs with more intention instead of just following recipes.
Nature is precise. 🌿
So when people out there think that raw is always more superior than heated, that is not always the case.

Aspirin is actually the cheapest and most overlooked beauty drug.
Approx a penny per dose and it supports collagen integrity, reduces puffiness and inflammation and lowers stress hormones that visibly age you.
I always look better and less inflamed when I remember to take it every couple of days.
If you’re not already using it strategically, let me explain why aspirin might be the most underrated looks-maxxing biohack.
When you look at beauty through the lens of cellular energy and structural integrity (which is what it actually is), aspirin makes all the sense.
We all know its insane cardiovascular benefits but aspirin directly supports oxidative metabolism; it boosts cellular respiration and shifts the body away from stress-driven glycolysis.
More efficient ATP (energy!) production = youthful skin, resilient hair and tissue repair.
By inhibiting COX enzymes, aspirin lowers prostaglandins and free fatty acid release-two major drivers of puffiness, water retention and tissue breakdown.
—>This protects collagen, improves vascular tone and blunts the ageing effects of cortisol, estrogen, nitric oxide and serotonin, all of which rise under stress and contribute to inflammation, skin thinning, hair loss and all of the problems of life.
Its mild anti-aromatase and anti-prolactin effects further tilt the hormonal environment toward regeneration rather than degeneration.
Used at low doses and with adequate nutrients (vitamin K, magnesium, fruit, gelatine etc), aspirin becomes a genuine metabolic enhancer with visible cosmetic effects.
Cheap and boring. Oh and extremely effective.

🚨 MCDONALD’S CEO EATS A $12 BURGER ON CAMERA - AND PRETENDS THIS IS NORMAL
This is Chris Kempczinski, the CEO of McDonald's, calmly chewing their new $12 Big Arch and calling it “lunch.”
Two quarter pound patties.
Special bun. New sauce.
1,057 calories.
Corporate tasting with cameras rolling.
Meanwhile, working families in America are realizing McDonald’s is no longer “cheap food”. It’s overpriced survival junk calories being sold as innovation.
He makes tens of millions a year.
You’re standing at the counter wondering how a burger and fries quietly became $17.
And his advice?
“Try it when you can get it.”
Does this feel like a brand that cares - or executives laughing while you pay more and get less?

I went to Kitchener with my father-in-law to our local coin shop. It was jam-packed and overflowing with people trying to sell their silver and gold.
I only saw two people there buying today. The rest were there to cash in.
This morning, silver was $154 CAD an ounce. When we were there, it dropped to $102.
Folks who checked yesterday's prices were pretty upset but chose to sell anyway.
Unless you have immediate use for the money, selling right now is insane. Right now, it's time to hold and wait.
The bankers want our silver, and we should not give it up so easily.
Unfortunately, dozens of people made the wrong choice today.y.
What did I do at the coin shop today? I bought some 100-year-old pennies for less than a dollar each. Why? Because I know they'll hold their value (and I can flip them on eBay for $2-3 if needed).
Just as today isn't the right day to sell, it doesn't look like a good day to buy. The volatility is absurd this week.
It's possible that silver drops back down to $50 an ounce before the next massive move upwards.
If you are looking to save money I recommend platinum and gold temporarily, perhaps even copper.

Classic example of why timing announcements matter more than the fundamentals behind them. Telegraph your moves to the market and watch them position against you.
That $60+ billion difference isn't just inflation - it's what happens when you broadcast your hand instead of executing quietly over time.
English

In a move that is still referred to as the "Brown Bottom", former Britain Prime Minister Gordon Brown sold 60% of Britain's gold at $275 per oz betw 1999 to 2002.
400 tons of gold = 12,860,000 oz
At $275 = $3.5 billion
At $5,000 = $64 billion today.
He announced it in parliament before he did it, making it even worse because the price of gold dropped immediately and stayed down until he finished selling, then launched in the following years.

@lordofblocks @JacobKinge You can do that same transaction in 3 seconds for a fraction of a penny with xrp or xlm.
English

@JacobKinge Bitcoin failed as payment system? I can send $1M globally in 10 minutes for $5. It works fine. This entire premise is wrong from the start.
English

I was recently speaking with a Bitcoiner who openly admitted that Bitcoin has failed as a payment system, an inflation hedge, a store of value, and an investment.
Yet they still insisted Bitcoin actually still has something that makes it so valuable, just not in any of those things. According to them, its real value comes from the energy used to create it. Yes, you read that right.
That might be the most brain-dead argument I’ve ever heard so far. We can burn fuel to produce smoke. Does that give the smoke “intrinsic” value? Should we start selling jars of it?
The sheer lack of critical thinking coming from the Bitcoin maxi crowd at this point is genuinely concerning.
English

@ChadSteingraber I think they are already doing it and not telling the market.

@LifeMathMoney @Hybridathlete All the protein powder are garbage. They are full of heavy metals and fillers. Even the best quality ones. You're better off buying more grass fed beef, meat or eggs.
English

@Hybridathlete The problem is that you're using whey protein instead of casein protein.
2 scoops of casein and you'll be full for 4 hours minimum. It coagulates in your stomach and takes 8-12 hours to fully digest.
