Today is a glorious day. Not only for the Cubans on the island, but for every Cuban in exile, for every family torn apart, for every neighbor, every friend, every loved one who spent their life waiting to go home. For 67 years, a group of gangsters seized a nation and turned it into their business. But today, is the beginning of the end. The forces of freedom are coming, and the Cuba that was born free in 1902 is finding its way back.

On average, crypto card users are already making more than 1 txs per day According to Paymentscan, yesterday there were - $26.53M in volume - 102,525 txs - 53,315 active addresses That’s 1.92 txs per address in a single day, with an average txs size of ~$259 I personally had 6 txs yesterday How many times a day do you pay with your crypto card?

Avici | Review #1 The Verdict: 🟢 Pass (with caveats) The Obstacle: Although with a smooth UI, there is a $10 one-time fee for the Virtual Platinum card. Technically it should be a "discard" per my game rules, but I’ve already bought it months ago, so I'll test it anyway. Physical cards are a steep $50. (Signature even more expensive) These were my Numbers: Deposit: Funded via Base (pretty fast). Fees/FX: 1.14% bank commission on the transaction. (at least there's 1% of it as Visa fees) Exchange Rate: 1 USD = 1315.76 ARS (including the above fee) I spent: 2,500 ARS ($1.90 USD) for a alfajor at YPF. The Experience: Pros: Multi-chain support (Solana, Base, Polygon, you name it). You can set insane $1M spending limits (if only I had the pocklet!). Cons: Once you move funds to the "Spending Balance," you can't withdraw them back to your wallet. You must spend it. Speed: Top-up takes ~60 seconds. A bit nerve-wracking if you’re already at the checkout, but manageable. The Vibe: It feels like a crypto with a very nice UI. It's transparent in ways, like it tells you where your funds are and which chain they are on, and you can withdraw them in that exact same chain. Seems like there's no orchestration there, but for crypto natives I guess that's acceptable. I doubt I will see this used by normies. #NikitaChallenge #CryptoCards

Foreign-Controlled Corporation rules. If you're a tax resident in a high-tax country and you own or control a foreign company, your government treats that company's profits as your personal income whether you ever distribute them or not. It's how the EU stops e-commerce founders from parking profit in Hong Kong and pretending the money never came home. Two partners walked into our call this week with exactly that problem. One a tax resident of France. The other based in Georgia. Two e-commerce brands generating eight figures annually, running through two US LLCs owned by a single Hong Kong company. Profit flowing up to Hong Kong and sitting there. Clean on paper. Catastrophic in practice. France runs full CFC enforcement. The Hong Kong company sitting above the US LLCs is, by the letter of French tax law, a domestic company for tax purposes. The partner thought he was paying nothing on offshore profit. France thought he was committing tax fraud. The partner in Georgia had a quieter version of the same problem. Georgia hasn't enforced CFC rules with much pressure yet, but CRS is rolling out across the region and the window for "quietly" working is closing every quarter. Their Hong Kong company wasn't a tax shelter. It was a paperwork delay. So we replaced the entire chain. The new architecture starts with a Panama Foundation. Not a charity. A private wealth-holding entity that functions like a trust, with stronger anonymity and faster execution than any Hong Kong structure could deliver. Below the Foundation, a Panama SA company. The Panama SA replaces the Hong Kong entity entirely as the owner of the two US LLCs. US LLCs at the bottom. Panama SA above. Panama Foundation above that. Names on no public record at any level of the chain. Then we addressed the personal side, because the two partners needed two different plays. The French partner has to move. France's CFC rules don't care what structure he builds offshore as long as he's tax-resident in France. So he sets up Panama tax residency, drops his French presence below 183 days a year, and the CFC trap stops applying. Panama doesn't tax foreign-source income. The two regimes complement each other. The Georgian partner doesn't need to leave Georgia. Local enforcement isn't aggressive, the tax footprint is manageable, and he wants to stay close to family. So we use Panama for the banking privacy and structural anonymity, but he keeps his Georgian residency intact. Two partners, one structure, two different residency plays. Then we solved the banking problem. Hong Kong banking has gotten harder every year. KYC has tightened. Compliance officers ask questions they didn't ask three years ago. The whole point of running money through HK was speed and discretion, and both have been eroding fast. So we moved the operating cash to Swiss private banking, held by the Panama SA. Better service. Stronger stability. Real wealth-management infrastructure. And the same Lombard mechanic that nine-figure families use, borrow against the portfolio at low single-digit rates, fund spending from the loan, let the principal compound. For day-to-day spending in either of their countries, we issue debit cards from the Panama account. No income, no distribution, no withholding event. Just a card on a foreign account, used like any other foreign card. The transactions don't generate domestic tax reporting. And when one of them wants to send a meaningful sum home, a family member, a property purchase, a personal expense, we route it through a separate special-purpose LLC that distributes as a "dividend" from a clean US entity, fully isolated from the main structure. The home tax authority sees a US dividend. They don't see Panama. They don't see Switzerland. They don't see the Foundation. End state: CFC exposure neutralized once the French partner exits French tax residency. Asset ownership moved from a Hong Kong shell to a Panama Foundation registered in a jurisdiction US and EU courts can't reach. Banking moved from a deteriorating Hong Kong setup to Swiss private banking. Daily spending runs on foreign debit cards. Meaningful repatriation runs through a clean throwaway LLC. Names appear on zero public records anywhere in the chain. They came in trying to leave money in Hong Kong and hoping no one noticed. They left with a structure built for the world that's coming, not the one that already left.
