i listen to mothers who are my patients, and their kids, and their partners, and their parents... and guess what... sometimes something a mother says is incorrect. They are human, not infallible sources of truth. The great majority of the time, the moms I work with know so much about their kids, and i get so much valuable information from them, as the loving caregivers they are. Other times, well, it's not so good. By the way, a doctor does a subjective assessment and an objective assessment, and incorporates both with reasonable synthesis into their impression and plan. (i know its been a while since you practiced medicine under good supervision, but i took this opportunity to educate you on that)

In pediatric medicine you are heavily advised to listen to mothers when it comes to their child. Nearly every doctor I've ever worked with or trained under has been adamant about this. Mothers not only spent the most time with their children, they have an uncanny connection. Somehow this never applies to the tens of thousands of mothers who watched vaccines destroy their children. Somehow, this is the one time you never listen to mothers. Instead, you gaslight them. Doctors should be ashamed of themselves.
