A video about the death of 20-year-old engineering student Lakshya Mishra is going viral across the country. Lakshya, a second-year student at a Manipal engineering college in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, died after falling from the 9th floor of his hostel building. His family says they still do not know exactly what happened that night. Lakshya’s father, Anjani Kumar Mishra, has appealed for answers and says there are still many unanswered questions. The family is not accusing anyone, but is asking anyone who was staying near HB-4 on the 9th floor, or anyone who knew Lakshya, to come forward with any information that may help. The incident has also raised larger concerns about student safety, mental health support and hostel monitoring in engineering colleges across India. 🚨 Update 1 - Service Centre Visit for Galaxy S26 Ultra Camera Issue I received a call from @SamsungIndia Head Office regarding the camera issue. They understood the situation and asked me to visit the service centre to create a job sheet and share my invoice. I shared the invoice and visited the service centre. As expected, initially they refused to register a job sheet (camera/software issues are often not taken seriously at first). I left and reported this back to the Head Office. To their credit, the Head Office team responded quickly, they apologized for the experience and arranged a proper diagnosis process. They informed me that a technical expert would assist remotely and assured me that I don’t need to surrender my device, since it’s my primary device. Visited the service centre again the next day. This time, the experience was completely different, they welcomed me well (clearly informed by HO 😄). I enabled Maintenance Mode (which is honestly dope, it protects all your personal data), and handed over the device for diagnosis. - Shared sample photos - Shared screen recordings - Logs were collected directly from the device The whole process took around 2 hours. After diagnosis, I got my device back immediately, as promised. Later, I received a call from Head Office confirming that, They’ve received all logs and will analyze and get back within a day with a resolution. Now waiting for the final update. Let’s see how this goes. All thanks to @Wvisioncreation for identifying this abnormality. His unit performs well, which helped confirm something isn’t right with mine. It was never my intention to manipulate results. I’ve only shared what my device produced. He knows me well. That post triggered mixed reactions, some Samsung fans pushed back, while many were neutral and supportive. Hope this clarifies everything. I’ve sold my vivo X200 Ultra. Once I get the replacement S26 Ultra unit, I’ll compare it with vivo X300 Ultra. Will keep you all posted.
