Whatever world Tony Blair inhabits appears to be one without climate change & where UK temperature record for May hasn’t just been smashed by over 2C. How else to explain his extraordinary dismissal of net zero & erroneous claim that fossil fuels are cheaper than renewables? 🙄
I think the Top 5 golf trips are pretty clear
- Bandon
- Wisconsin
- Monterey (including Pasatiempo)
- Pinehurst
- Streamsong
6-10 is a lot harder……….Northern Michigan, Kiawah, Sea Island, and Palm Springs come to mind. What do you think should be next on the list?
@BrknMan Lol, but when the weather or tide don’t fit your narrative you say “you can’t use that”…..your credibility is in the toilet as is governments pushing this crap all over the globe.
Dear Climate change deniers .
Today UK broke it's May temperature record by 2C.
The UK has temperature records going back 350 years and in all that time we have never come close to this May temp.
Without climate change this temp in UK would be impossible
Driving range etiquette question ⛳️
If two strangers next to you spend an hour and a half loudly talking nonstop while you’re trying to practice…
Do you: A) not care at all B) get mildly annoyed C) want to launch your wedge into orbit
@NUCLRGOLF Before 8:00am pace is 3:45 to 4:00 hours. After 8:00am it’s 4:30. If you want to play slow before 8 to “beat the heat”….your the problem. By the way, this helps the course management too.
I know golf is in a bubble and bubbles always pop. I also know once companies know consumers will pay certain prices for goods, they’re never going to lower prices - even when the bubble pops.
Yes, this has a $350 shaft, but the head itself is still $700. Not calling out Titleist here. This is industry standard.
I just don’t see how this is sustainable. Normal people everywhere can hardly buy groceries right now. Debt is rising like crazy.
Yes, golf lends itself to higher earners by nature. It’s an expensive game.
But we’re at a point now where $700 is an off the rack price for a new driver. Want to get fitted? You’re looking at close to $1000 or more.
These are now the floor. It’ll only get worse from here.
At what point do golfers push back? And what if they do? I’m not a financial genius by any means. Where’s the breaking point where cost drives down demand?
And who loses? Us? OEMs? Courses? Everybody?
Serious Question: The alcohol industry has lost $830 billion in the last 4 years, because Gen Z is not drinking. Why do you think they aren’t drinking?
Dear male golfers over 60,
You don’t get a prize for finishing your round in under 3 hours. When the course gets backed up, but is still ahead of time, you have no reason to hit into the group in front of you and gesticulate like an angry toddler on each hole.
Me
Hi.
Guys at golf tournaments.
If, umm.
If you could simply shut up.
No, no. No rebuttal.
Just shut up.
You’re not funny.
You’re not cute.
You’re not witty.
You’re an idiot.
We all think so.
We all hate you.
Your wife and kids are embarrassed by you.
So.
Shut up.
Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.
Today the voices of division will be loud.
They don't speak for the country I know, one that belongs to all of us.
That's our Britain. A Britain worth fighting for.
