Poverty, Violence, Poor Governance, Resentment, Hate, Deprivation, Underdevelopment all are the symptoms of the Balochistan Problem. The causes are: Corruption, Inactions and Disconnect from the masses. Solution: address the causes not symptoms. Simple!

Violence kills, but romanticizing violence corrodes society. With youth in Balochistan more vulnerable than ever, we urgently need sustained strategic communication to counter destructive narratives and replace them with meaning, dignity, and hope.

Let’s be clear: there is no political justification for violence against the public. But the Baloch issue itself has no sustainable solution except a political one. Security may contain violence; only politics can resolve the conflict. It can't get simpler than this!

Unpopular opinion: Killing insurgents may create deterrence, but it is not counter-insurgency. C-insurgency is a holistic process political social & institutional where legitimacy inclusion & justice matter more than body counts. Force can buy time; only politics can buy peace!

The last 3 days in Balochistan point to a growing vacuum. History warns that such spaces, if ignored, tend to implode. It is our collective responsibility to fill this vacuum with dialogue, accountability justice, & opportunity—so our youth are given real hope & a shared future.

The biggest challenge ahead is the sense of self-entitlement our youth derive from education—one that too often justifies aggression and hate. Let's find more meaningful ways to engage them in discourses that create civic sense and empathy!
