Got food at work today after checking on a patient and as I was on my way back to the work room I saw a small army of anesthesiologists hauling ass in the direction of my patient’s room and I immediately panicked and started hauling ass with them dual wielding my chimichangas 💀

@ahardtospell Same thing for Lord of the rings. It would be impossible to get three, 3+ hour movies, plus the extended versions, a colossal 6 part making of in 5 or so years.

An older relative is a retired Hollywood producer. We were watching the original Harry Potter films, which adopted the entire book series in under 10 years.
I asked him if it would be possible to do that now. I'll never forget his answer: "We can't. We don't know how."

I'm very fortunate that my balance at maturity is like $127k with ~11 years remaining amortization on accelerated payments.
