In my entire adult life I dont think I've ever experienced an economic boom in the UK. Graduated a few years after the 2008 financial crisis, and ever since then it's been either economic stagnancy or recession. I would love to see what an optimistic, booming economy looks like.

It’s not luck. There are times when it absolutely is not the time to buy. But over and over I’ve seen markets where I’ve practically begged my younger counterparts to stop renting and just buy…and that window closes and they are once again waiting for the next dip. There will be a market correction, there always is, and once again a lot of people will be too scared to jump in. When I was in my 20s I talked a female coworker in her 40s into buying a condo instead if renting. And she did, a very modest one bedroom for her and her cat. That condo is/was in Central Denver…

I think times are tough, and there's little optimism for the future All sorts of things kicking around, from low wages to high cost of living, absurd house prices, high unemployment and sparse jobs, to environmental issues like pollution and the impending disaster of climate change, to AI/Robotics set to take a large number of existing jobs, ongoing wars, economic turmoil and instability to where everyone is expecting another global economic crash, low birth rates set to cause more problems down the line. Just... everything seems to be doom and gloom. On the relationship front, often what in the past was your mental strength through these things, is a mess. The so called "gender wars" where men and women seemingly hate each other for all sorts of reasons... Most women with absurd standards that 99% of men don't meet, spawning these wild "manosphere" ideologies for men... Everything is just a mess, and it's only set to get worse 😔

Sorry, regardless of medical treatments, you're still a man in reality. Why not address the underlying issues that make you feel like you're "in the wrong body", so to speak. Treat it as what it is, a mental illness. Because come on, you can't just identify as whatever you want, and that somehow overwrites literal reality 😅 Like, how would you feel having to play along with an anorexic claiming to be fat... It's actually wild we've reached a point where we have to play along with charades of the mentally ill to be considered polite. It's a dangerous precedent to set imo.

Trans women on HRT experience hot flashes, breast development, fat redistribution, and muscle atrophy that cis men simply don't. We're physically closer to cis women than our former selves. If you actually cared about "biological reality," you'd acknowledge hormones drive these characteristics, not chromosomes. You don't check anyone's karyotype before treating them as their observed sex. Treat trans women as women (because we are) and stop being an asshole.
