@Brandon_Nokes @Srpatelmd @ATSSRN Certainly messy with many factors that could interact with each other - sleep duration, sleep apnea severity, sleep apnea endotypes, innate propensity for sleepiness, arousal frequency, etc. Ultimately, more RCTs of OSA and effects on CVD are needed to know whom to treat.

@MollyBillings2 @Srpatelmd @ATSSRN A bio marker would be nice. Separating sleepiness from fatigue or other forms of “tiredness” can be difficult.

@Srpatelmd @spatilmd @ATSSRN I think it’s the sleepiness which we have of course no bio marker for but correlated with both and CVD. If only we understood how/why some get sleepy 🥱 😴

@spatilmd Hello Susheel, we regret to hear about your sentiments alongside this experience. Please keep in mind too that we do have customers gate check their baggage for various operational circumstances beside overhead bin space. We hope you still enjoy the flight. ^JK

@united #flight1589 Disappointed to see the gate agent first state no bags in group 5, then change her mind and say no more in group 4. Only to find out there was TONS of space on the plane. Better communication with in flight team needed. Disappointed.
