@BasilTheGreat Dear Basil the Great, So what you are saying is that the majority of sex crimes are committed by white people? Biggest self-own I have seen in a while. All the best, Wolfgang

@inemesitaffia @spiderbunny7 @pete_carswell Sooooo. When people say they don't want your cheap toys, you coerce them and climb on X and spread lies about them? They're refusing your toys because you're white. Is that how y'all are playing this crap of yours? Lick Elon's arse in peace and leave SA out of it

I guess you’ll have to judge for yourself if my behavior was “despicable,” and makes me a “bad person” -- apparently that is Bret’s take After last night’s panel, I serenaded the crowd with a quick rendition of Sinatra’s “My Way,” so I’m doing all I possibly can to entertain

@Lordmiles Start a company, pay yourself a salary for 3 months. Reapply. The box checkers will be able to check boxes and that's all they need. It's stupid, I know, but that's how the game is played.

I’m getting financially raped >want to apply for mortgage >deposit mid 6 figs into UK bank account for the last 2 years >great credit score, no debt >literally just want a £50k house to be on the property ladder >can easily buy a £50k house in cash several times over >told im not eligible for a mortgage because my income is “inconsistent” >told no mortgage because i “don’t pay income tax and they need tax returns” >i ask him if i can get a letter from HMRC showing my income and my 0% tax rate as proof >he says no because the “system won’t accept 0% tax” >i ask if im basically suffering from success, he says “yes” >ask if i could buy 3 or so homes for £50k each in cash and borrow against that in the future for a stupidly small amount >he says no due to tax situation >he says they find having more than 2 sources of income as an issue because it’s “complex” >he recommends i get a normie job for 3 months that pays £3k/m so im eligible for a mortgage This is retarded. They don’t trust me with a £100/m mortgage with a 75% deposit when I could buy a property outright

@RyanCoetzee Starlink comes with massive risks to sovereignty and data security, putting critical infrastructure in the hands of an erratic, wildly ideological individual who has demonstrated his willingness to wield his control of the system for political ends. SA can make other choices

Utopia is not the standard. Reality is. Every civilisation has sins if you judge it by today’s moral standards. You can build an entire career doing nothing but listing them. That is easy. The harder question and the only one that matters is this: compared to actual, existing alternatives, who has done better? I am not claiming the West is perfect. It is not. No society is. But if you are honest about measurable progress on rights, equality, and self-correction, it is still ahead of every other major system in the world today. So stop asking "is it perfect?" That is a childish question. Ask: "compared to what?"

Hey, if everyone lowers their seats, the distance remains pretty much the same, but the comfort goes up. The only reason it is not permanently in a reclining position is for easy entrance and exit, and eating. Reclining is to be seen as the default. You put it up during takeoff and landing so that you can exit the place quickly in the case of an emergency that's all.

The conservatives failed in immigration and demographics, gone. Labour failed on immigration and demographics, gone. If Reform fails on immigration and demographics, they too will go. Same for Restore. Make no mistake, at this stage, Restore is the last of the moderate options.

This country might be about to have its 6th Prime Minister in 7 years. Why? Because they’ve all failed to take on a rigged economic system that enriches the few at the expense of us all. People want a society where children don’t go hungry. That is really not too much to ask.

🚨 Michelle Dewbs just snapped back hard at Labour MP Perran Moon. “You might want to look people in the eye — the families of many people who have been raped, sexually abused, assaulted…” Moon was defending Labour’s small boat record.

A man in Africa shared a video of himself cutting down a massive reportedly 1,500-year-old baobab tree so he could use the wood to build his house. Baobabs are often called “the Tree of Life”, some are among the oldest living organisms on Earth. It’s wild to think a tree that’s been standing since before the fall of the Roman Empire is now being turned into building material. On one hand, people need homes. On the other… that’s an irreplaceable piece of natural history. Source: @Bulvarpress

@MarioNawfal Open cycle gas turbines. On the plus, easy to implement, and very responsive to changes in the grid. But very fuel hungry. It produces expensive electricity.

🇹🇷🇬🇭 A single Turkish ship anchored off Ghana's coast generates over a quarter of the country's electricity. The MV Karadeniz Powership Osman Khan is 299 meters long and pumps out up to 480 MW of power. It has been doing this since 2017. No power plant to build. No years of construction delays. Karpowership, the Turkish private company behind it, has quietly turned this model into a global business, deploying floating plants to countries with chronic energy deficits across Africa and beyond. Africa has an infrastructure gap that traditional investment has failed to close for decades. Turkey found a way to monetize that gap with engineering.

Confused why Starmer hasn’t resigned, or mistakenly believe he’s deluded? Think again. His mission is to gaslight. Divide. Create fear. Tank the economy. Drive us angry out onto the streets. With Digital ID, CBDCs and an AI workforce the endgame.

A defeated Labour Councillor just admitted the BRUTAL TRUTH that so many, including plenty of Labour MPs, have been thinking. After the local election massacre, Councillor Steve let rip: “I think we’re on the road to EXTINCTION.” 🎯 He turned on Keir Starmer, saying he’s “not cut out to be a leader” and “should’ve gone months ago. If he had, we might’ve stood half a chance”. He then declared that Bridget Phillipson, his own MP John Trickett, Chancellor Rachel Reeves and Yvette Cooper are “all toast”. And he added: “There is no chance of recovery between now and the next general election.” I can’t disagree with any of it, except the idea that Starmer stepping down earlier would’ve made a difference. The damage was already done. This party is clueless, packed with useless politicians who don’t understand the country at all. Labour isn’t in trouble. It’s finished. They just haven’t accepted it yet. 🪦

Our party has suffered a historic defeat. Many good Labour colleagues have lost their seats despite working hard for those they represented. We have lost good Labour administrations and lost the chance for more. What we are doing isn’t working, and it needs to change. This may be our last chance. The Labour Party must now live up to our name: we must be the party of working people. We’ve heard the same on the doorstep as we’ve seen in the polls - the cost of living is the top issue for voters of all parties. People have turned to populists and nationalists because we have not done enough to fix it. Living standards are barely higher than they were a decade and a half ago. People feel hopeless - that the cost of living crisis will never end, and now they see oil and gas companies use global instability to post record profits. Once again, ordinary people are paying the price for decisions they didn’t make. It’s no wonder that across the UK, working people feel the system is rigged against them. Things can be so much better than this. Countries including Spain and Canada have shown that economies can grow and people can thrive when governments stay true to labour and social democratic values and put people first. We need to learn from that. In London, we lost young people who fear they will never afford a home. In my patch and across the north, we lost working people whose wages are too low and costs too high. In Scotland and Wales, people do not currently see Labour as the answer.  We are in danger of becoming a party of the well-off, not working people. The Peter Mandelson scandal showed a toxic culture of cronyism.  Decisions like cutting winter fuel allowance just weren’t what people expected from a Labour government. For too long, successive governments have allowed wealth and power to concentrate at the top without a plan to ensure the benefits of economic growth are shared fairly. The result is an economy that does not work for the majority, with wealth concentrated in too few hands. This level of inequality, alongside squeezed living standards, is the outcome of a model built on deregulation, privatisation, and trickle-down economics. But we have the chance to fix this.  1/2
