As a developer, you'll want to have a portfolio where you can showcase your work and skills. Bonus points if you build it yourself from scratch - which is what @sprucekhalifa teaches you how to do here. You'll use just HTML and CSS and build out header, hero, about, work, & contact sections for a fully-featured portfolio. freecodecamp.org/news/build-a-s…

@NigeriaStories Every Muslim is supposed to follow Shariah law the same way every Christian is supposed to obey the Ten Commandments. They’re not forcing any one to stop shariah they’re just stoping you from forcing others who don’t want any part in it to partake.

A Muslim group is telling the Doma Council Chair to apologise within 48 hours over alleged blasphemy, or face “more serious consequences.” My question is, what happens if he doesn’t apologise? Deborah him? That’s why I don’t take all these MURIC, MYCN, or other so-called Islamic groups serious.

So why is the action of the Owo church attackers a punishable offense but that of everyday bandits are forgivable and negotiable under the "Repentant" label?
NTANetwork@NTANewsNow

Breaking! DSS Strikes Again, Captures Sixth Owo Church Attacker *High-profile ISWAP Commander hid in Edo Village for 4 years* Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have arrested the sixth person involved in the 2022 attack on St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo state, in which over 40 worshippers lost their lives and scores more were left injured. The DSS is currently prosecuting five persons — Idris Omeiza (25), Al Qasim Idris (20), Jamiu Abdulmalik (26), Abdulhaleem Idris (25), and Momoh Otuho Abubakar (47) for allegedly carrying out acts of terrorism. For nearly four years, the sixth suspect evaded arrest, making him one of the most wanted fugitives in Nigeria. A security source disclosed that DSS, operatives, who had for years been on the trail of the sixth suspect, identified as Sani Yusuf, arrested him in Iguosa community, along Powerline in Ovia North Local Government Area of Edo State. According to the source, Yusuf, a high-profile commander of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) had after the Owo church attack, temporarily slipped into Kano before deciding to relocate to the sleepy community in Edo State. The source further disclosed that Yusuf has since confessed to being involved in the planning and execution of the Owo church massacre. In addition, continued the source, he confessed to other terrorist attacks by ISWAP, including the July 2022 Suleja military barracks attack, and kidnappings in Kaduna State and environs. "He admitted his role in the Owo church attack, the Zuma Rock checkpoint assault, which claimed the lives of five soldiers, and several ISWAP kidnap operations," the source disclosed. "Yusuf also disclosed that he served under other ISWAP top commanders like Abu Ikirimah, who was arrested by the DSS in 2024," another source offered. "This arrest marks a significant milestone in the pursuit of justice for the victims of the Owo church attack, the soldiers killed at Zuma Rock checkpoint in Suleja, and underscores the relentless campaign by the DSS in the fight against terrorism," he declared.

@Admiral_Cyborg But spending billions to build a big hall where unemployed people can come and pray for employment is a great idea. Because the unemployed people would part with the little money they have for the next big project

Let us analyze the fact that these men of God dont want your growth, devoid of emotions: Lets use the 100k seat auditorium being built by Bishop David Oyedepo as a point of reference. I know you'll say its his money and his choice, but look at it like this: 1. The land was gotten in Abuja, at a very expensive amount. 2. Billions of naira have been spent on that project alone. 3. Upon completion, a few people will be employed from cleaners to secutity, gardeners, electricians and instrumentalists... None of these jobs will ever make those workers financially independent, rather, it'll keep them fully dependent on the Bishop. Now lets see it from another angle. Imagine if he used that space to build a big factory-like warehouse and loaded it with sewing machines. Then announces to his congregation that he has an employment opening for 10,000 fashion designers, and another opening for 10,000 apprentice to learn the trade. While they're being evaluated to authenticate their skills, he is using his influence to direct traffic to his factory, and customers keep flooding the place. He will make back his investment while employing over 25k people cos there'll be cleaners, security logistics people and all, also he'll be giving back to the country via tax. In this scenerio, the fashion designers get paid per commission, empowering them more than the little 50k salary per month. Everybody wins in this situation, but no! He wants 100% monopoly over your time and life. If this is not a calculated and well thought out slavery plan, then i don't know what is.

It’s because you people have no idea how tech works that’s why you people want to vote online Someone has to control the server where the data is stored right? If de manipulate it how will you know? Hand voting and electronic voting both have bad sides but hand voting with ID is still best if you consider everything else But live updates is still possible even with hand counting that’s what all this football Livescore apps do

@olafoty You can do something right if you want to. Protest does not mean intentionally breaking the law. If everybody decides to break the law intentionally law and order will fall and it won’t help anybody. And moreover you won’t even be there to defend him in court so just shut up

All Muslims pray. All Muslims fast. All Muslims go to Hajj. All Muslims believe in the Quran. All Muslims believe in the oneness of Allah. But not all Muslims support extremism. Not all Muslims justify killing in the name of Islam. If Islam truly commanded violence, every Muslim would be an extremist. Every mosque would be a war zone. The reality is simple. Islam is not what drives these people. Their hunger for power, control, and chaos is their real motive. So when will people stop blaming Islam and start holding the actual criminals accountable?

That’s easy for you to say. Show me an official report or document made by the Islamic organizations in Nigeria that said this people are not Muslims. Nd I never blame Muslims more than half of my Family members are Muslims You people never try hard to seperate yourself from the terrorist groups that’s my point. I’ve not heard any Imam in my village speak against them

You are confusing shared identity with shared guilt. Yes, Muslims have one Quran. That does not mean one understanding or one behaviour. There are scholars, schools of thought and sharp disagreements. Extremists do not represent us, they rebel against mainstream scholarship and twist texts for power. A criminal quoting the Quran does not make his crime my religion. Boko Haram is not Islam, just like a white supremacist is not Christianity. We already separate ourselves by rejecting their ideology and refusing their violence. You just ignore that because blaming Islam is easier than holding actual criminals and their backers responsible. Same book. Different minds. Different motives. Stop pretending they are the same.❌
Spruce Emmanuel@sprucekhalifa

Let me explain something you don’t know for you. For other religions when there is different in opinions they break out and form another religion. Take Christians for example when there was different in opinion they broke out from catholic and formed Anglican different teachings were thought. When they also had differences they broke out and formed Pentecostal different teachings and beliefs even Pentecostal had different beliefs and they further split even sometimes use different bibles. Do you know why all this split? It’s so that you don’t hold another group responsible for an action performed by a different group. But for Muslims Boko Haram, ISWAW. Ansaru, Al-Qaeda, Hesbollah etc they all go to the same Mosque on Friday, they all use the same Quran. How are we supposed to separate you people? You people don’t even try to separate yourself that’s why
