@ayostin_enoch @samwellsg @ThePChris Pascal’s wager you fool. What about the other religions with their own gods and their own hells? In someone else’s religion you are already condemned. So the claim that you lose nothing by believing falls apart
English

@samwellsg @ThePChris Do you know that if God indeed exist, you'd have alot to lose, but if you're indeed right that there's no God, Christians would have nothing to lose?

That’s why it’s good to study well before you become an atheist so you won’t be disgracing yourself.
It only takes you study to find out that
The ‘Red sea’ is a misinterpretation of ‘The Reed sea’ or ‘sea of Reed’
The sea of Reed can be crossed on foot overnight.

The Red Sea is 2 times bigger than the United Kingdom(UK). Meanwhile, the Israelites trekked to cross it in just one night while being chased with horses and chariots.

@DamiTheOG_ @jodambusta But they are mutually exclusive tho. The more you advance in one the more you see the misalignment between them
English

This represents a common straw man argument often put forth by Nigerian atheists and neo-traditionalists. They imply that prayer and the pursuit of scientific and technological advancements are mutually exclusive, suggesting that one cannot engage in both simultaneously. But this notion is not supported by the Bible or by any Christian denomination. The Bible calls us to both pray and work diligently: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord" (Colossians 3:23); "If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat" (2 Thessalonians 3:10); and "Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead" (James 2:17). History confirms that devout Christians like Isaac Newton (known for his laws of motion and gravity) and Gregor Mendel (the father of genetics) made groundbreaking scientific contributions while being deeply committed to their faith. Such rhetoric is merely an attempt to discredit Christians. The Bible does not instruct Christians to rely solely on prayer; otherwise, they would not establish hospitals or contribute to education by building schools. The widespread availability of education is largely due to Protestant Christians who sought to ensure that everyone could read the Bible. Ironically, many atheists have benefited from schools founded by Christians, showcasing the collaboration of faith and action. While the arguments against this are fundamentally flawed, a more constructive approach would be to encourage Nigerian Christians to actively engage in their work while maintaining their prayer practices, as these two endeavors can coexist harmoniously. One can embrace both faith and action.
