PLENTY more - not one like this that’s so self serving. Even interviews with his son who knew he was his son his whole life are so much more insightful. These two - Sophia and her father (who in itself is seemingly exaggerating his feelings) playing up their toxic relationship that’s toxic and has nothing to do with his lineage (which was happening all along before the revelation). Further, it’s literally part rehashing the same things we’ve seen, part her crying (and asking how she’s gonna move forward — please), fighting with her dad (who acts like he doesn’t want to talk about it and she’s crying) and a sliver of real interesting information. This documentary should have been interviews woven into a larger story, not a 1 hour and 24 minutes of “her truth” by two failed filmmakers who are merely in this for a money grab. @hulu can do so much better… this is total amateur hour. You’ll wish you could get your time back.

@stacecoaster I was considering watching it, I expected it to be something like this, I may eventually watch it just to watch it, but there are plenty of actual Manson docs that are more interesting

I am watching it - and honestly, she is an adult and her inability to cope with her news is absolutely mind boggling. She is finding all the ways she can to be the same as Manson - any way possible… why? This documentary is a journey of her incessant need to connect and feel like a victim. She is nothing like him, she doesn’t look like him… her father is a dick - move on, be an adult, even alone and please stop saying “trauma…” this isn’t trauma - the victims family experienced trauma.

My Grandfather Charles Manson - a no for me. Starts w granddaughter saying she had no money, if felt like she kept milking the fact that she was Manson’s granddaughter. Crying came across as performative, too. Overall, I didn’t find it that interesting.

You know what really bugs me? We cant own anything. Everything is a subscription....like literally everything. You cant buy Microsoft Office. You have to purchase a subscription for a year. You literally have to pay for everything FOREVER Isn't anyone else bothered by this.

Why do airports serve alcohol? Alcohol is the #1 cause of flight disruption. It's the main call for airport police. There is no point. Airports don't need to serve alcohol. They are airports- not nightclubs.

This happened to me - I looked at a corvette in a Las Vegas Chevy dealership and it was shipped to the dealership at like $88k or something - they marked it up by $40k so they were trying to sell it for like $125k and I was like yeah no. I’ll take it for the MSRP… the dealer? I can’t sell it for less than $115k yeah I walked. Kept my gorgeous V8 5.0 Mustang. When it was time to sell it a few years later? I fun little mini cooper. $10k mark up - fine; I get it the dealership and dealer needs to make money but… $50k? That’s friggen greed.

This Ford F-150 Lightning has an MSRP of $41,669, yet the dealership added a $35,000 “market adjustment,” bringing the price to $76,659 before taxes and fees. Then they wonder why new trucks are sitting on dealership lots. I don’t know who’s paying an extra $35,000 just because the dealer says so. Calling it a “market adjustment” doesn’t magically make it reasonable.

Or people like to use the first couple of hours of their morning (or hour or 30 mins) to go thru yesterdays work and read left over emails and do all of the things like take a moment and drink coffee and speak to your teams before the meetings kick in. To me, anyone who insist on a 9am interview time should have a reason, like their leaving for vacation. There is no reason to not be flexible. To me, that’s a red flag of the hiring manager and their work style. Unless there are legit critical time sensitive deadlines coming, or they work in a 24 hour industry anyone who do 1st thing morning meetings and 4pm Friday meetings are a$$holes. I had an 8 am once a week standup meeting for a project where the launch was 18 months away - I was 2 hours behind so it was 6 am meeting. It was utterly useless - I had nothing to report on for MONTHS. But I had to be there.

@Tacko77 @Simon_Ingari Well, then this speaks to bias - and if bias is the issue, then maybe people should have better training in unconscious bias - regardless of the time of day.

@stacecoaster @Simon_Ingari It’s great and oft quoted example of how human judgment is sub-consciously affected by environmental factors, time of day being a stand out example. If it happens to judges it happens to everyone including interviewers.

Or maybe they’ve crashed and I get to see this person during a low point of the day? Also, as a candidate, I want to see what the place is like during the middle of the day - not in the morning 1st thing. I’d probably think they’re hiding something if I’m not allowed to see actually what’s going on.

@stacecoaster @Simon_Ingari No hiring manager thinks they are assessing candidates based on interview time. Just like no judge thinks they are making parole decisions based on time…statistics say otherwise.

I haven't tried the patches but tried a friend's pouch once. Five minutes later I felt like I had slammed a gallon of tequila. Nauseous with the spins and had a hard time walking. It scared the hell out of me. Maybe I'm just very sensitive to nicotine? It was a super scary, especially since it happened so quickly. Haven't tried it since that reaction. I do try to eat foods high in nicotine. No reactions to those.

@isafernan I don’t think what you get tattooed is a statement of class - it’s the quality of the tattoo. Hire someone that’s cheap who cannot do an actual straight line for your minimal tattoo? Or pay a true artist to help you see your vision thru on your body who knows what they’re doing.
