Before your next tech interview, study the job description and create a 1–2 slide presentation showing how you would solve one of the organization’s problems. Don’t just say you can do the job. Show them how you think, how you solve, and how you create value.

@pemilo123 And if we DO work a 40 hour week, the crap piles up at home, and we need a week's vacation just to go through the mail, empty some boxes, scrub the kitchen floor, and do something fun to remind us why we want to be alive.

Many people with autism and ADHD absolutely cannot work a 40 hour work week without serious detriment to ourselves. It's unbelievably hard and I hate being treated like whiny kids. This shit is a fucking disability bro, we are not designed to meet the expectations of capitalism.

wondering why I feel exhausted. maybe: the agents do all the easy stuff, and I have to work through the leftover hard bits, which means I'm perpetually locked in. and as the models get better, "my" work just gets harder and harder, until I'm basically underqualified to do the work (which... is better than the alternative, there's nothing left for me to do, and I'm paperclipped).

If you want to become “AI literate,” stop only reading threads. Build something. Even a basic automation is better proof than saying you understand AI trends.

AI is changing entry-level expectations. You need stronger proof now. Show that you can use tools, think through problems, and produce work faster without becoming careless.
