@aslaveofJEHOVAH @CryptoCowboy101 @CertainSpeaks If the Son can’t give what He doesn’t have, why does John 5:21 say the Son gives life to whom He wills, just like the Father?
English

@CryptoCowboy101 @CertainSpeaks Jesus receives eternal life he is the Son of the God who is no ones Son.
John.6:57NIV"Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me."
English

@MrCasey62 @StLuke_1_28 If Jesus is the head, why does your “vicar” need a throne, a palace, and 2000 years of power grabs pretending he’s not just playing dress up as God?
English

@StLuke_1_28 It’s low-IQ stuff. She’s thinks it’s a clever anti-Catholic gotcha, but she’s too uneducated to know the Catholic Church was teaching this 1500 years before her ilk even showed up. 🤣
English

@StLuke_1_28 @MrCasey62 Jesus is the head… said every Catholic ever, right before they pivot to “but the Pope is His vicar on earth.” Nice try deflecting.
English

@MrCasey62 They explained the headship of the Church to her, and she reacted like a naughty child. Now she's doubling down.
English

@Crash49676428 @jdskyles Actually, they connect perfectly: Paul explicitly calls Christ “that Rock” (1 Cor 10:4) in the same foundational sense, showing Jesus, not Peter, is the true, unmovable bedrock of the Church (cf. 1 Cor 3:11).
English

@stealthxbomber @jdskyles Wrong that's has no connection to Mathew 16:18
English

Jesus literally changed the man’s name to “Rock”.
J.R. Miller@jrmiller777
Christ alone is the rock upon which the church is built. Not Peter. Not Popes.
English

@dragodimitrov Your belief in the infallibility of your Pope is not surprising given that the Roman Catholic Church was founded on lies.
English

@Christopherf6K Pentecost began the Church.
It did not begin thousands of competing interpretations.
The same Church born at Pentecost still has bishops, sacraments, and apostolic succession.
That is Catholicism.
English

@oakenshield_117 @BishopJaxi Sola Scriptura means Scripture’s our final authority, not a game of “find the exact phrase.” Your extras are the ones MIA from the book.
English

@stealthxbomber @BishopJaxi so you agree pope, purgatory and immaculate conception are valid concepts and douctrines despite not showing clearly on the bible?
English

@ProlifeLowlife @BishopJaxi 2 Tim 3:16-17 says Scripture equips the man of God for every good work—making Tradition and Magisterium unnecessary add-ons.
English

@stealthxbomber @BishopJaxi The concept of solar scripura is completely absent, on the contrary, the bible tells about the importance of oral traditions
English

@Catholic_asis @BishopJaxi Protestant Mary: reads the plain text. Catholic Mary: needs 19 extra titles and 1500 years of headcanon.
English

@HabitualLinest @espekadaengrish @HoldenCCole Still zero verses commanding us to pray to dead people. Try again, bead boy.
English

@espekadaengrish @HoldenCCole Rev 5&8 show the saints and angels receiving our prayers and presenting them to God
If you ever read your Bible you wouldn't embarrass yourself like this
English

Protestants think praying to Mary is worship because they don’t have the pinnacle of Worship: the Eucharist. Makes sense they think simply praying is worship.
Mikale Olson@realmikolson
Praying to Mary IS worshiping her.
English

@BreeSolstad The reported numbers are specifically for people being formally received into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil. That’s like saying a store bragging about “record Black Friday crowds” doesn’t prove the business is booming.
English

The early Church widely recognized and used the apostolic NT books as Scripture by the 2nd 3rd centuries (core listed by 180 AD in the Muratorian Fragment), with 4th-century councils formally ratifying the exact 27 book canon through Holy Spirit guided discernment, not creating or inventing it.
English

@stealthxbomber @PopeDefendersX @ThomasD17260 Yes, the early Christians were Jews who believed in Christ. That still does not tell you which books belong in the Bible. Apostolic authorship and Jewish identity do not produce a canon. Who made that decision?
English

@lethalburrito18 @PopeDefendersX @ThomasD17260 The Church didn’t “canonize” inspiration into the texts, it merely recognized the divine authority the NT books already possessed and were widely treated as Scripture for centuries before 4th-century councils.
English

@stealthxbomber @PopeDefendersX @ThomasD17260 You are arguing against a strawman. ‘From the Catholic Church’ does not mean it authored Scripture, it means it canonized it. Writings circulating does not tell you which ones are inspired.
English

No. The New Testament was written by messianic JEWS, and had been circulating for centuries before Nicaea slapped its approval on it.
St. Jerome just COMPILED and translated the EXISTING texts, he didn’t WRITE the Bible. CREDITING him for authoring it is like saying the editor who bundles all Dr. Seuss books into one fancy volume 500 years from now secretly wrote every whimsical line himself.
English

@ThomasD17260 Bible is from the Catholic Church.
You refuted yourself
English

@Sachinettiyil Leo XIV: “Let the children come to me… and make sure the phones are rolling.”
English

The word “Catholic” first popped up around 110 AD in the writings of Ignatius of Antioch.
Back then, it just meant “universal”, a SIMPLE way to describe the whole NETWORK of Christian churches spread across the region, not some top down institution run by a single leader like the Pope.
That kind of centralized power structure, with Rome calling the shots, only started taking shape much later, well after Christianity gained traction under the Roman Empire.
English

The Catholic Church has always claimed to be God's continuation of Israel. It was formed in 33 A.D. from the remnants of Israel, but it's not a separate institution. To be Catholic is to be in communion with Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Peter, and all of God's People.
As Romans 11 says, the church is ONE LIVING OLIVE TREE, with Hebrew roots. There's no gap between Abraham and Pope Leo XIV today.
We are claiming that Jesus, Peter, Paul, Matthew and all the Apostles are Catholic. Except Judas. He became an early type of protestant.
So, Catholics wrote the New Testament by the grace of God. Our Catholic forefathers wrote the Old Testament.

English

Catholics have been so thoroughly deceived that many sincerely believe the Catholic Church wrote the Bible, that no Scriptures existed before the Church, and that every Pope is personally infallible. Some even claim Jesus was a “Roman Palestinian” and that Mary has the power to forgive sins.
This is the inevitable result of following human traditions and church authorities instead of the Scriptures alone. When doctrine is built on the shifting sands of men rather than the unchanging Word of God, it leads souls away from the true Gospel — and Scripture warns that path ends in destruction.

@LifeSite Strickland’s moral clarity: Let Iran go nuclear so we can pray harder later. Brilliant strategy, Your Excellency.
