Sub-40ms full self-driving on a $100 drone! 🚁 A demonstration showing a complete full-self-driving pipeline running in under 40 milliseconds on a $100 drone. The prompt: "Find the bike and land." No pre-mapping. Running real-time on commodity hardware. For context, human reaction time is around 200-250ms. This drone is processing sensor data, understanding natural language commands, identifying objects, planning motion, and executing control, all in 40ms. This is what happens when foundation models meet efficient inference. The models get smaller and faster while maintaining capability. The hardware gets cheaper while getting more powerful. The intersection makes previously impossible applications suddenly viable. A few years ago, this required thousands of dollars in compute, pre-mapped environments, and cloud connectivity. Now it runs locally on hardware that costs less than a nice dinner. @piskooooo Yes, meaning it's not irrelevant, "You would have to know and enter it yourself". Your OS doesn't expose an API to read in mouse DPI to my knowledge so it would have to be manual entry.

@piskooooo How can the game's internal sensitivity know that it is set at 100cm/360 though? If I double my DPI but don't change any game settings that baseline is no longer true.

@steamuhamlet i already answered this. the game would have an internal sensitivity. lets say the baseline is 100cm/360, "50 sensitivity". if you wanted 50cm/360 that would change its internal sensitivity to 100, because it needs to be 2x higher

@CelbiiAIM Realistically aimers will play the game whether or not it has an advanced mouse sensitivity slider as they can always calculate externally. The dev time is just going to be judged as better spent elsewhere (microtransactions lmao). ALC might be enough of a dealbreaker.

@steamuhamlet Sure, but even if it was a second tool like “advanced sensitivity” we’ve seen something similar with apex and ALC for controller? A small % of players would care about that and we still got it.

@steamuhamlet @CelbiiAIM you can have both... one person can enter in their dpi and cm/360 the other person can use a slider with made up numbers by the developer.
