@pascal_bornet Doesn’t seem like it’s valuable in Europe, plus I went to check compatibility and it the oldest golf it supports is 2015. Not that old….. you still need a pretty modern car to even use this….

Everyone says self-driving needs billions. Comma ai built a very uncomfortable counterexample for $999. That is what makes this story so interesting to me. While Waymo, Cruise, and others spent billions building robotaxis, custom vehicles, and tightly controlled systems, George Hotz took a very different bet: Do not build a new car. Fix the cars people already own. A small aftermarket device. A few cameras. Better code. And an open-source path the industry did not take seriously enough. That is not just a product story. It is a capital-efficiency story. And maybe an ideological one too. Because while big auto keeps building closed, expensive, heavily controlled systems, comma ai is pushing something much more uncomfortable: AI that runs on consumer hardware, improves through community, and does not require a giant corporate gatekeeper. That is why this matters. It challenges one of the laziest assumptions in tech: that hard problems always need giant budgets. Sometimes they need better software, a sharper model, and the courage to ignore the industry playbook. So here is the real question: Will autonomy be owned by a few mega-corps, or built into products ordinary people can actually use and control? #AI #SelfDriving #AutonomousDriving

@TopherField Completely forgetting about the fact that the vehicles themselves are not emitting emissions. All of that would still be happening with oil, plus the vehicles emitting tailpipe emissions.

If EV trucks are your answer, then your question is stupid. And if this is their 'proof' that EV trucks are better than diesel..? Then that's... embarrassing... Support the Topher Project via store.topherfield.com/collections/all

Fuck. I rented this gas car so I could find out how long it takes to fill gas but they gave it to me with a full tank It has like 270 miles left in the tank. Driving that far seems like a lot of work. Any ideas? Anyone in socal want to drive it 270 miles for me and not steal it?

AirPods Max 2 - Same design - 1.5x stronger noise cancellation - New amplifiers - H2 chip, which enables several things, like: - Live translation, camera remote - Still $550 apple.com/newsroom/2026/… (I hope this puts into perspective how insane Macbook Neo for $499 is lol)

Things I’ve learned since the Macbook Neo was announced: - Turns out even a $499 MacBook can be controversial. - According to tech twitter, 8gb of ram isn’t enough for note taking, opening up a website and running the ChatGPT app at the same time. - everyone really did want colorful MacBooks - Android users are defending windows - Steve Jobs would have approved this - the iPad Air is cooked - Rest in peace Chromebooks - people think an iPhone chip is bad - If edit 8K video while rendering a 3D animation, while exporting a podcast, running 100 Chrome tabs, Final Cut, Blender, and still checking email like nothing’s happening, during simulating an entire city in a game engine just to test shadows and running four external displays while the fans barely wake up… the Neo is not for you.

@MattWallaceTech What’s even worse is, there is a key fob for the 3, you buy it from Tesla from the website. How’ s it inconvenient? Literally there are no added steps, they removed a step. Unlock car, put card in place, drive vs unlock car, put key in starter, turn key, wait, then drive.

This car salesman says Tesla keycards are stupid and inconvenient and prefers a traditional key but has no idea you can use your phone as the key. Maybe it’s just me but if it’s your job to sell cars maybe you should be more familiar with the features.

@zaidkdahhaj @JordinSparks Stop fear mongering, BT is everywhere, millions of devices with it on, same with WiFi & cellular. You not using AirPods isn’t going to do anything, considering how much of these microwaves are surrounding us on a daily basis.

Avoid AirPods and other wireless Bluetooth headphones. This is the health hack you will never learn from the mainstream dilettantes From a first principles biology lens, AirPods place a pulsed 2.4 GHz microwave transmitter directly against one of the most metabolically active and mitochondria dense structures in the body (the cochlea), which contains melanin that helps buffer oxidative stress, regulate ionic gradients, and maintain redox stability Pulsed RF exposure will influence calcium signaling and increase reactive oxygen species to excess amounts, forcing melanin and mitochondrial systems to absorb and neutralize stress millimeters from the auditory nerve and brainstem Acute damage isn’t the focus here Rather, it’s chronic micro-disruption in a high energy neural tissue that relies on tight electrochemical balance to maintain circadian and redox integrity If you use these chronically, consider yourself warned, especially if you experience any of these symptoms: • Ringing or intermittent tinnitus • Increased sound sensitivity • Ear fullness/pressure without infection • Subtle hearing fatigue after long use • Brain fog after extended listening • Head pressure or mild headaches • Sleep issues (especially if used at night) • Irritability or wired, but, tired feeling This is a technology with real consequences when used chronically that works against the function of the body, an electromagnetic system A few years ago, I used to have a pair. After educating myself, I destroyed them with a hammer Take my words seriously, do not fucking give these to your children either

The upcoming AirPods Pro 4 will reportedly be able to "see around you" using the built-in cameras 🚨 The new model will be available at the same $249 price Source: @Kosutami_Ito

@jmwilt21 @tesla_na Agreed, if it’s going to be controlling core functions of the car it shouldn’t be limited, it’s like Siri or Gemini/GA having 10 requests a day, is stupid and doesn’t make sense. We are been to lenient on companies and subscriptions, we need to fight back.

This very nice man drives for Uber to make ends meet, he has picked up these two young women for a ride. During the ride someone pulls out in front of them and he has to slam on his brakes. Since they aren’t wearing their seatbelts, they fly forward into the piece of plexiglass he has installed. Is he liable for injuries if his passengers refuse to wear their safety belt or should he not have even started driving unless they agreed to put their dealt belt on?
