The release everyone was waiting for is now live. Ghost fills dropped from a peak of 30% to 0.17% with the rollout, and will continue trending toward 0% throughout the day. Ugh… looks like a right hamstring injury for OG Anunoby. You can see him grab at the back of his right leg on a cut with 3:00 mins remaining in the 4Q. Stays in the play got a few seconds but then immediately motions to the bench that he needs to come out

@EventWavesIO does polymarket even provide real pnl data? I thought the only pnl data available was the pnl without fees included? A lot of wallets that appear positive are actually in the negative if you include fees, and others are significantly lower in profit if you include fees.

Kalshi doesn’t provide the data that enables this kind of analysis - that’s why people use polymarket stats

There's so much wrong with this article. 1) this is an article about Polymarket data, and yet the cherry-picked human interest example is a Kalshi user in order to try and make these findings apply to them too (at least in the mind of the reader). 2) said human interest example reminds me a lot of cherry-picked agenda-driven stories from '23 re crypto reporting by MSM. e.g. "I put the entirety of my kid's college fund into Dogecoin and now it is worth a lot less." People should take responsibility for their choices -- good and bad. In this case: "In January, Pederson placed all $41,000 he'd earned [TRADING ON KALSHI!] on the hip-hop artist A$AP Rocky to say "rapper" during an appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." I mean, come ON.

This is as transparent hit piece, the method is comical
"Bot wallet are those that made more than 50 trades per day or 1000 over 15 months"
15 months = 454 days
So basically if you did more than 3.1 trades a day during this period, congratulations, you are a bit
Even worse, when you dig into it you realize that they count every fill on a limit order as a trade.
So if you place a 1000 shares limit order and it get partially filled 50 times it counts as 50 trades and you are also a bot.
I don't believe they are that stupid, this was a comendited hit piece, they used this ludicrous method on purpose to work backwards to the result they wanted to produce.

I sat down with the co-founder and CEO of Kalshi (@mansourtarek_), a prediction market reportedly worth over $20 billion.
After years of struggle, Kalshi won a regulatory battle, culminating with their successful suit to overturn a CFTC decision, giving them the ability to allow consumers to bet on politics, sports, weather, and more.
Tarek shared the history of how he got here and what kind of company he had to build to weather all the uncertainty.
I also got a chance to push him on Kalshi’s place in the world and its potential for positive or negative impacts. I was persuaded by his arguments that it can be a big force for good.
