Got a call at 10:15 this morning and by 2:30pm the passports were printed. My applications were jn Durham but they got printed in Liverpool for me as that's where i am.

Meaning it's just a Post office box and the letter doesn't actually get delivered to an address. Just a heads up before you travel.

@HM_Passport has anybody gone along to a fast track for first child with a withdrawal letter to cancel existing application? Did it work? Were both applications cancelled? Definite answers only plz

@tyleranorton @HM_Passport Oh wow, so lucky you managed to get the appt. Seen loads of people struggling. I have one in Lpool on the 21st but have online applications in progress/cancellation letter sent. Not sure how it will go but you've given me some hope 🤞

@steph2490 @HM_Passport I went straight in with a fast track replacement for a lost/stolen passport so took paper forms to peterboro. No online app.Booked it on sat 9th after refreshing the shit out of the available appointments page. One appeared on 11th miraculously, the 7hour round trip was worth it!

A bit of hope for those who are going through a fast track application with @HM_Passport . I had my appointment on Monday 11th April, the passport arrived today at 10am. Took less than 3 days to get here, tracking info was available from last night. Really impressed tbh

@steph2490 @HM_Passport It was at Peterborough. I initially left the appt fuming with their 9 day time frame, as they were telling me to factor in the courier not delivering over Easter weekend and the general lack of compassion from the staff. But behind the scenes they really pulled out all the stops

@RitaBooker16 @LegoBatshit @HM_Passport No. I spoke to someone on Saturday who put a note on my applications saying not to process them and that I'd sent a letter so to cancel them. But still nothing yet - not very hopeful tbh

@steph2490 @LegoBatshit @HM_Passport I’ve sent withdrawal letters too. My application is still processing 🙄 I’m constantly checking to see if it’s cancelled! Have you had conformation of withdrawal yet?

@ashleyygrayy_ @HM_Passport It's currently taking about 14 working days for them to decalre they have your documents. I had to chase and chase to find my kids Birth certificates. They were signed for on 9th of March. Got an email 29th March saying they'd recieved them 😭

@_sxnya @HM_Passport You have to write a letter, include PEX and sign and date. Then send it to where you sent your supporting documents. You then have to wait until they upload and cancel your application before you go to the FT appt. It's a nightmare!
