Just did my first con in the UK. @BasingstokeCCon was great fun. It’s kind of amazing that a show that we started making half a lifetime ago still lives on in so many hearts. So lovely to see actors I hadn’t seen in years and catch up! Very grateful to have had the opportunity and would love to do it again sometime. #Stargate

Next month it'll be 8 years ago since Anton the stray cat decided to move in with us. By his own choice he's been living inside the heated garage since November, but he's enjoying the daily excursions in the garden and is generally spending more and more time outdoors 🌻🪻

Being under a tornado watch/warning in Scotland is a new level of bizarreness that I didn’t think I would ever see! My house sounds like it’s about to take off!

@ColemanMoreing @samismymuse SG-1 was boring at times. Same thing done over and over just with a different backdrop. I think most people's problem with SGU was it wasn't all happy ever after and sunshine. It told you things didn't work well, unlike in SG-1 which ended well in all but 6/7 episodes.

@samismymuse I read how there in the works for doing another Stargate series. But it will be set about 49 years later. The first two were good. But Universe sucked!

I play on both PC and Xbox. Doesn't make a difference how you play it as long as you enjoy it.

@GeekToyLove I see a tv show that completely misunderstood the property it was continuing. Stargate giving up fun and tongue in cheek humor to be a poor imitation of Battlestar Galactica was a mistake.

@hungsolo @antimatterdata @GeekToyLove You obviously fall in the category of people who didn't get what SGU was about. It's been years and you can't let it go. Not everyone hates SGU, in fact, I know a lot that like it. You really need to give it up and let the people who enjoy it be happy watching a show they like.

@antimatterdata @GeekToyLove And relatable. SGU’s characters were caricatures that were sullen and obstinate because that’s what the show called for, not because they were fully developed. It was not good; it imitated the “look” of a BSg while ignoring the nuance and substance that made that show great.
