A second night of shooting attacks against synagogues and Jewish centers in Canada. This has to stop. The Canadian government must do more to ensure the safety of the Jewish community.

Aside from Snuggerud’s key injury, #stlblues say Toropchenko sustained “scalding burns” in a home accident - the second #NHL player to miss time this season with a home mishap after #FlaPanthers Eetu Luostarinen sustained burns while barbecuing.
St. Louis Blues@StLouisBlues

Jimmy Snuggerud will undergo surgery on his left wrist and Alexey Toropchenko is week-to-week after sustaining burns to his legs in a home accident. DETAILS ➡️ stlblues.me/4a7Ai7F stlblues.me/4a7Ai7F

🚨A Palestinian State with Current Leaderships Will Lead to Catastrophe Calls for a Palestinian state have become louder in recent months, some genuine, others symbolic, and many driven by mounting international pressure. Yet, for those of us who’ve studied the Middle East closely, who have read the writings of jihadists and watched regimes collapse under the weight of corruption or fanaticism, the idea of establishing a Palestinian state under the current leaderships is not a pathway to peace, it is a recipe for catastrophe. Let’s speak frankly: both Palestinian leaderships: Hamas in Gaza and the Palestinian Authority (PLO/Fatah) in the West Bank, are corrupt, dysfunctional, and morally bankrupt. And let’s be clear: Hamas is not misunderstood. Their ideology is rooted in jihadism, no different from Al-Qaeda or ISIS. I’ve read the writings of Yusuf al-‘Uyairi and the letters of Abdel Aziz al-Muqrin, the same toxic worldview is embedded in every speech by Sinwar. A state run by such a group would not bring peace, it would bring terror to the region. The Palestinian Authority fares no better. What started as a hope for statehood has decayed into a kleptocratic regime, deeply unpopular among its own people. According to a 2024 poll by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research, over 80% of Palestinians want President Mahmoud Abbas to resign. That’s not democracy, that’s a crisis of legitimacy. History gives us a clear warning. In 2005, Israel withdrew from Gaza. It handed over the land, the greenhouses, the infrastructure, and instead of building a new Singapore, Hamas built rocket launchers and terror cells. In Lebanon, Hezbollah hijacked the state’s institutions, leading to war, regional instability, and the complete collapse of governance. In Iraq, the collapse of the Baathist regime and weak leadership allowed ISIS to rise and carve out a state of terror. What makes anyone think a Palestinian state under current leaderships would be different? It wouldn’t. It would be another failed entity, one that constantly demands funds from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the West, while exporting radicalism, instability, and violence. I understand the desire for a two-state solution. I understand the politics. But I reject the idea that this should come before serious reform within Palestinian society. What is needed first is a leadership that teaches coexistence, not martyrdom. A leadership that tells its people: “You will not be free by killing Jews, but by building your own future.” A leadership that recognizes Israel’s Jewish identity, that fixes the school curricula, that stops glorifying violence. When (and only when) such leadership emerges, peace becomes possible. I believe the people of Israel, of Tel Aviv and Haifa and Jerusalem, will be the first to call for a Palestinian state when they see a real partner for peace on the other side. But for now, I say clearly: a Palestinian state under today’s leaders would be a disaster. And the Middle East cannot afford another disaster.

This is counter to the promises @MarkJCarney made of conditions for recognition including the release of the hostages and ending the war. The signal it sends is that Carney is rewarding Hamas’ terrorism and genocidal conduct. For all they say that it isn’t a reward for committing the most recent genocide of Jews, they’re lying to you. They know it is. The other signal it says after two years of Canadian Jews living under threat is that the Canadian government doesn’t care about Jewish safety. Shameful, @Canada.
Marc Lévesque@MarcLevesqueEco

This is Carney’s official statement. Note that the recognition of the « State of Palestine » does not come with any conditions. Not even the release of the hostages. Canada has just plainly and simply recognized the « State of Palestine ». pm.gc.ca/en/news/statem…

Dear Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), You’ve canceled the screening of the October 7 film because you claim not to have permission to use Hamas body cam footage, an absurd excuse. Here’s my proposal: I personally traveled to Israel and documented the horrors committed by Hamas terrorists in Be’eri, at the Supernova Music Festival, and in other locations. I grant you full permission to use my footage free of charge, so the world can see the true evil of Hamas’s radical ideology, an ideology that could one day target Canada as well. Instead of appreciating Israel for standing on the frontlines of humanity against these monsters, this is how you choose to respond? Shame on you.

You've been lied to about what is happening in Gaza. Here's the truth: -Hamas started this war, butchering about 1,200 Israelis and taking hundreds hostage (They still hold 50 in tunnels and cages). -Israel sent 1.5 BILLION meals into Gaza, enough for 2 million people for more than 2 years. -Hamas steals 90% of aid, selling it to fund terror and buy loyalty. Hamas made over half a billion dollars least year from manipulating the aid system. -UN agencies like UNRWA are infiltrated by Hamas and help spread its lies. This isn't famine. It's a terror economy. Read AND RE-TWEET this official report that the media refuses to share with you! @POTUS @AGPamBondi @ChadMizelle47 @TheLeoTerrell

LOOK - the PALESTINE soccer team came to play in Boston in 1936! Wait - the team name was the “Palestine Maccabees?” So the team was Jewish? Yep - during the British Mandate, “Palestine” was the name of the Jewish homeland. So what else don’t you know about the conflict?

“Under the flag of PALESTINE” And this is from 1935! But the flag of Palestine is … today’s Israeli flag?? Yep - during the British Mandate, if you said “Palestine,” you were referring to the Jewish homeland. So what else don’t you know about the conflict’s history?

🔥 THREAD: “Why the word ‘Palestinian’ is a recent political invention” (A truth you were never told.) 1/ You can criticize Israel. But ignoring the fact that the term “Palestinian people” is a modern political creation is dishonest. Here’s why. 👇

If we are heading towards another massive ethnic cleansing of Jews, then there’s something the world needs to know. After the Holocaust, people asked “how could this happen?” “Why did nobody say anything?” “How did you. It see it coming?” So let’s set the record straight. We see it coming. We feel it coming. We know that the intent of the Islamic Regime is to commit a Holocaust, the likes of which the world has never seen. We know they plan on finishing what Hitler and the Nazi Regime started. We know that they want to kill Jews everywhere. They’ve said it. We’ve heard them. We believe it. So if they are successful, as historians are looking back at how, let’s see the record straight. Here’s how. Western governments. We see this coming. We tell our governments it’s coming. We ask them to pause immigration. We ask them to stop the hate and the threats and the incitement. We ask them to protect the Jews. They don’t. They increase immigration. They continue to fund the terrorists. They allow the Jew hatred to increase, unchallenged. University administrations. We say shut down the encampments. Stop the protests. Make statements against antisemitism. Protect your Jewish students and faculty. They negotiate with the terrorists. They capitulate. They allow the encampments to exist. They rationalize them. They allow radicalization and Jew hatred on campus. The "As-a-Jew". We say stop protesting against your own people. Stop being the token spokesperson the Islamic Regime is looking for. We tell them they’d be killed just as soon as the rest of us. They ignore us. They pretend it’s not about the Jews. The woke left. They’ve bought into the propaganda. They believe they’re supporting the “oppressed”. They believe there’s a genocide. They’ve drank the Kool Aid. We say nothing to these people because they believe “all Zionists lie” and they’re not even open to actual fact or critical thinking. The silent majority. We don’t know what they think, but we beg and plead with them to speak up, to speak out against terrorism. To stand up for Israel. They remain silent. Fear? Laziness? Lack of awareness? We don’t know why. So, if there’s another Holocaust, we want the world to know that we stood up. That we spoke up. That we tried everything to get your attention. And the world ignored us. Again
