MUST WATCH: Mike Dawson gives epic speech on the Carney's push to end gas-powered vehicles by 2035. "This is a slap in the face to every tradesman, farmer, hunter and contractor in 🇨🇦," adding "If the PM wants our pickup trucks, he'd better bring himself a convoy." 💣💥 #cdnpoli

It’s deeply concerning that while families are gathering, and Christians are celebrating the death and resurrection of Christ, that the Liberals have chosen Easter weekend for advance polls. Advance polls are on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday which are among the holiest days in the Christian calendar. It’s clear that the Liberals have no respect for the Christian faith. They are only focussed on serving themselves so they can hang on to a fourth term in power.

I think someone has hacked your account. YOU brought in this tax. YOU defended it repeatedly in the House of Commons. Now you expect accolades for canceling the very tax you brought in and fought tooth and nail to keep?
François-Philippe Champagne (FPC) 🇨🇦@FP_Champagne

By canceling the capital gains tax hike, we’re supporting builders, small businesses, and entrepreneurs—those who take risks to create jobs and drive our economy forward. It’s time to build. pm.gc.ca/en/news/news-r…

Canada triggered a tariff war with China to protect a House Of Cards with EVs. Ottawa is now scrambling to find a buyer for Northvolt’s massive battery factory in Quebec after its Swedish parent company filed for bankruptcy. Meanwhile, farmers are being hit with steep tariffs on exports to China. What a mess.

Hold up… I’m just trying to follow the puck here. For years, we were told that the carbon tax put more money back into the pockets of 80% of Canadians. Now, Prime Minister Carney is telling me that in order to put more money back into my pocket, he must kill the carbon tax. Just pick a lane…

Carbon tax killed and all the liberal sheep are clapping. 7 damn years and it didn’t do shit. Give me my money back you greasy hypocrites.

This is a great read from a great Premier of Saskatchewan and says what many of us thought. The Trudeau resignation was a nothing burger. I wanted to watch him being soundly defeated in a general election and face his peers. Thank you @BradWall306 facebook.com/share/p/1FF8My…

SHOCKING DEVELOPMENT🚨: 6 major national Ag organizations, representing hundred of thousands of farmers, have SEVERED TIES with Trudeau’s disastrous UN-Sustainable Ag Strategy. Farmers, producers, & ranchers are DONE with the NDP-Liberal government’s assault on Canadian agriculture. This reckless, "ag strategy" is destroying the economic viability of our farmers. More to come.

In case you missed it while Trudeau was at the Election interference hearing, a few Liberals did a press conference about how bad last year's arson...um.. wildfire season was. Also, on cue, the MSM is pushing the low snowpack in BC, calling it the worst in 50 years. What they don't tell you, hoping you will only read the headline of 66% of normal snowpack, is that it was lower in 1977. 65% of normal. If you follow the articles over the last month or so, the snow pack was at 53%, then we had an unusual amount of spring snow. This is all a normal occurrence during an El Nino cycle, which we are presently in. Warmer, drier winter. Data only shows since 1970. Wonder why. Side note. The five previous low April 1st snowpack levels since 1970 were 2015 (65% of normal), 1981 (68%), 1977 (70%), 1993 (72%), and 2005 (72%).” vancouver.citynews.ca/2024/04/10/bc-…

The Federal government's debt is over $1.2 trillion. I expect Trudeau to add another $75-90 billion to it after next week's budget. Trudeau increased it by 60% in 8 years. He added more debt in 8 years than the previous governments did in 148 years. Trudeau has increased our debt by $200 million every day for 8 years. Every day.

April 2nd: I’ve seen a lot of posts explaining why the cost of things will increase, and how it starts with us Farmers. I’d like to educate you as to how it works as a Farmer: I DO NOT GET TO PASS THE COST OF THE CARBON TAX ON TO YOU, THE CONSUMER. So when you’re wondering why you can’t afford things, you can thank all the middle men and the government for the increase in your groceries and products, because they passed the carbon tax down to you. When us farmers pay carbon tax on drying or heating, we get to absorb that cost with no way to recoup. When I sell my canola to an elevator, I do not get to add a carbon tax onto it, and it’s absolutely not calculated into my pricing that is set out by the elevator. I think it’s absolutely fantastic that people are waking up and speaking out, but we need to get the facts correct first. AGRICULTURE DOES NOT GET TO PASS DOWN THE CARBON TAX.
