From Wed, Jul 17, we’re improving the Cambie Rd & No. 5 Rd intersection for better safety for all. 🗓️ Mon-Fri 7am-4pm, Sat 10am-6pm (as needed) till end of 2024. 🚦 1 lane each direction, no left turns. Use alternate routes. Access to properties will be maintained. #RichmondBC

It goes to council on June 12. Hopefully we can talk some sense into one more Councillor and get this done.

Richmond council has just voted 5-4 to reject a multi-use bike lane/walking path next to Steveston Highway. It's part of TransLink's proposed Major Bikeway Network, and would have come with $5.5 million in funding from higher levels of government. Unclear what happens next.
