@MatthewModine so GREAT to see the old pegboard! We had one as part of off-season football strength training. Nobody besides guys who went to my school even knows what a pegboard is!

I’m often asked about the pegboard scene in VISION QUEST. That was all me. No stunt doubles or safety measures. I trained for a long time and had to climb it several times to get all the angles. The “trick” is not to over extend, so you’d be pulling up your entire body weight. You have to keep it compact. Arms and elbows tight. 💪🏽 You can support the @FMJDiary project by bidding on a signed VQ poster here: ebay.com/itm/2062521319…

LOVE repeat buyers. They obviously have lived with a piece (or two or three or more) and GET how a painting can flavor a room. I don't know what got into me but this post pays homage to classic Blue Note record album covers of the 50s and 60s. #jazz #jazzart #villagevanguard

This is laughably absurd & another example of just bad reporting. There is no statistical difference between those two numbers, particularly at smaller narrow demographic sample sizes. To be clear, in the last 4 decades NO ONE has had worse numbers among Black voters than Trump
(((Harry Enten)))@ForecasterEnten

Trump's GOP is holding on to the generational gains they made with Black voters in the 2024 election. The GOP has gained 12 pts on the Dems on party id with African Americans vs. Trump term 1 at this point. Trump's approval with Black voters is higher than it was in term 1.

@CJNitkowski GREAT POST!!! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this. So much of sports reporting is surface. This is substantial.

RFK Jr: "A Democratic senator claimed it's mathematically impossible to have a drug drop by 600%. I said, 'Well, if the drug was $100 and it raises to $600, that would be a 600% rise. If it drops from $600 to $100, that's a 600% savings.'" Trump: "Right"

The idea that the president of the United States is playing chess, much less "5-D chess," is laughable. We've never had more of a checkers player as president. He can barely think one move ahead. He doesn’t plan. He is utterly reactive. What's his mantra? "Let's see what happens."

@joshrogin sorry to nitpick but they wouldn't make money here by shorting oil. they'd make money by going long (or buying) oil, then selling it for much more.

“Somebody shorted the oil markets today by hundreds of millions of dollars exactly 20 minutes before Trump made his announcement that everything was going to be great. And if you see that once, it could be a coincidence. But that’s happened at least three times, if not more, since the war began. That’s a pattern.” “And what that suggests is that there’s rampant corruption and insider self-dealing going on with the president’s up and down predictions of what’s going to happen tomorrow in the negotiations and in the markets. And I’m sure that that’s being investigated. We can’t prove it, but it seems like the corruption that we’re seeing in our government, maybe not the President, but people who are in the know and the markets, is having a priority over the actual negotiations to end the war. And that’s a crazy thing that our system has never seen before.”
