@henrywinter Just catching up with yr post after watching the game last night. I agree with every word Henry. The PL has to wake up & reduce the number of games. It was a fantastic game though. Pace, skill & technique in abundance. It made the standard of the PL look Sunday league.

One of the greatest games in recent memory. Positivity in motion. Total football, total entertainment. Some of the best players in the world on view. Kvaratskhelia, Dembele, Doue, Kane, Olise, Luis Diaz, and others. A lot of talk about how fresh PSG and Bayern Munich players look. Dominate their leagues so can rest and rotate. Also helps they have a winter break. Two weeks in France. Three weeks in Germany. The English plough on through winter, of course. Food for thought for the Premier League after this feast of football. But football of this exceptional calibre and pace is also a mindset and philosophy. Encouraged by enlightened coaches. Good players told to go out there and express themselves. Little diving or dissent, just elite competitors getting on with the game. A great game. Encore 🙌 #PSGBAY

@nickverlaney Whilst I think doping is a serious offence and should be taken seriously. A player made racist comments and got 9 games. Ben Thatcher only got 8 games for nearly killing Pedro Mendes. This punishment is wildly out of proportion

This will be his first appointment to referee the FA Cup final, having previously been the fourth official at the 2025 final and an assistant referee at the 2015 final. Akil Howson is as an assistant referee and becomes the first black official to feature in an FA Cup Final. Tim Wood the other assistant. Fourth official is Sam Barrott and VAR is Peter Bankes.

@henrywinter Should introduce a rule where you can't make subs if you're winning. Game I was at yesterday the leading team did five subs individually towards the end, one every 2 or 3 minutes, ruining the game.

@henrywinter If Leeds was one up. They would have done the same. Never understand why time keeping isnt handled by someone off pitch who just starts and stops clock when play starts and stops. Time wasting wouldnt be a thing. As for breaking momentum there is nothing you can do
