Lost my best friend yesterday and it hurts so bad so excuse my ramble Like so many, my love of sports came from my dad since I could barely talk. He lived for his kids. I was so blessed he paid for all of my schools and yet he was still all in when I decided to leave my career to help start action. He listened to every single one of my podcasts and always needed to know what I bet so he could follow along. He was a huge Duke basketball fan and I loved rooting against his teams for some reason aka he would give me 20 bucks every time they lost which didn’t happen often in the 90s (I will never have a higher ROI since I never had to pay). He was under the basket when Laettner hit his famous shot at the spectrum. I was only 6 so don’t remember but I apparently cried and didn’t talk to him for 2 weeks. Fast forward 25 years when I married a UK girl and he never stopped joking I only did it to get him back for that Laettner shot. Man beat cancer twice but the third time was too much. He didn’t have the heart to tell us the third time it spread everywhere but he at least went peacefully. Football and college basketball weekends will never be the same without being able to call him but I’m so happy G Jr. got to meet the G the 4th even though I’ll be perpetually sad he won’t get to watch him grow up. Love you forever pop

The 2026 Kentucky Derby field feels wide open, which means there could be serious value on the board. Commandment, Danon Bourbon, So Happy, Emerging Market, Renegade, Further Ado and more all get discussed in our full Derby preview. youtu.be/Y_INe9c__YU

@KendoVT Pretty sure I read each player in the field gets 5 days to play practice rounds.

@Stuckey2 Took a 6 week old to Italy. That was a lot easier than taking a one year old on a two hour fllight recently.

Have identified first player prop for the Super Bowl. Will throw a few bets on @ActionApp in just a bit but will place a free $100 long shot bet on said player for whoever guesses who it is first

I hate that. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy. He just got such a bad rap at Georgia. 🙄

Today , after careful consideration of the charges against him and all defenses, Jordan Addison decided to plead to a lesser included vehicular offense, commonly referred to as a “wet reckless.” As a result, Mr. Addison will pay a standard fine and complete two online courses after which we expect that his probation will be terminated early in six months. Over the past year, he voluntarily participated in MADD events and programs and, after reflection, decided to enter this plea understanding the ramifications of this decision. He has kept the organization apprised throughout these legal proceedings, and will continue in his full commitment to being a valuable member of his team.

Buried within the BS Republican Budget bill is a provision that harms poker players and those who gamble by limiting loss deductions. I’m working on a legislative fix that fairly treats gaming losses in the tax code.

@VitalVegas I was just there and commented that it looks like most of the hand sanitizer stations have been removed which also makes no sense.

Three things that should’ve continued after the pandemic: 1) Frequent cleaning of slot machines. 2) Fist bumping instead of shaking hands. 3) Close-talkers wearing masks.

One more… players have to share lockers with another player. My locker mate is JJ Spaun. I opened the locker and all his purchases from the pro shop were in there… I think he spent most of his players champ earnings this week 😂 It was impressive. (He moved it out soon)

Augusta Diaries (Monday) -I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to do anything today but the rain stayed away for a while so I was actually able to practice a little bit. -Had an omelet for breakfast with some great toast. 8.5/10 -My coach Sean was there and he was able to see some of the misses that I had been dealing with the last couple weeks. Overall action was very good, but felt like my clubface was slightly too closed at times. I generally play better with a neutral to slightly open face so it was an easy adjustment to commit to. -The short game area is so good here on the tournament range. The greens are contoured similar to the greens on the course so I was able to get some good work done. I really don’t like it when practice areas don’t match the course style. -The bunkers here feel slightly different than other courses. It feels heavy/sticky. The ball comes off a little slower imo. Will keep monitoring that. -Greens aren’t that fast yet but healthy. I’m not sure what conditions will be like when the tournament begins but I know from last time that practice days can be VERY different from tournament days. -Had a grouper sandwich (lettuce tomato remoulade sauce) with fries which was really solid. 9/10. It’s a set menu for the entire week. Will def get that one again. -Did a workout at their gym they use once a yr lol very nice and did a little bit of shopping to end the day. -The line for the merch building was CRAZY long. Maybe it was because not many were on the golf course because of the forecast but wowza. Feel bad for the people that just got to the front of the line but had to leave as the horn blew 🤦🏻‍♂️
