@KemiBadenoch Absolutely fantastic speech. They hated hearing those uncomfortable truths, which are entirely of their own making. Well done, Kemi 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Labour MPs are so arrogant. They want to lead our country but they can’t even lead a coup.

Is it 'deep-SEATED resentment' or 'deep-SEEDED resentment'? 'Deep-seated' means "firmly established," and is the term you want to use. We do recognize that some gardeners might have some 'deep-seeded' resentment on occasion.

@hzeffman Is Starmer so bereft of ideas that his first move is to bring back Brown and Harman?!

Early days, but the Brown-Harman strategy hasn't landed particularly well so far. One normally loyal minister just said to me: "It’s a joke. There is no question to which bringing these two back is the answer."

@xcy1392577 @LukeTryl Kirklees deeply rooted in textile and wool industry. Most of the towns have strong mill town heritage. Hudds world-famous for it's Worsted cloth. Spen Valley's Cleckheaton, Heckmondwike, and Gomersal were all wool mill towns. Dewsbury and Batley specialised in recycling wool.

Labour lost *every single seat* on Kirkless, where the party holds 4/5 MPs. We are seeing some of the most fragmented results in councils that combine a white working class vote with a large ethnic minority population - e.g. with Mill Towns like Kirkless/Burnley.
