@Baghurst There are plenty of good coaches putting in a lot of time that isn't reflected in the W-L column.

This kind of statement concerns me, as it shows how much we need to educate decision-makers about the important role coaches play in society.

@CoachEliBurk I've coached high school for almost 30 years. If we knew a college coach was coming we made sure the ticket takers knew. They don't always know if you just show up.

Horrible first 12 minutes for Iowa State. The Cyclones haven't been good in any area, especially on defense. Credit to Tech, who is making the wide freaking open threes regularly. Cyclones need to hit the gas.

The @FHSAA Board of Directors has voted 10-0 to approve changing to using straight up @MaxPreps Rankings (the ones everyone sees directly on MaxPreps.com) to rank and seed playoff teams. FHSAA has cited some recent changes from MaxPreps that is allowing for this including some human elements now being a part of the rankings system. Some questions came up about how forfeits are being handled, but sounds like the FHSAA has a plan to handle it as Exceutive Director Craig Damon endorsed it. This is a big move away from the FHSAA Modified MaxPreps Power Ranking.
