This was after Covid where there was a lot of legitimate skepticism of the establishment and elites People like Andrew Tate (before he was famous) reached out to me about it back then...they thought it was amazing I thought that exposing the underpinnings of the globalist world view that was becoming increasingly common place among elites was important The problem is I just didn't understand social media and how these things work...and I didn't understand that such an agenda would shortly be hijacked by grifters looking to weaponize legitimate criticisms of the status quo It wasn't long after this that I started noticing the emergence of the Woke/Reactionary Right and the grifters that followed. But it was too late to do much about it back then...I was a small insignificant voice And so I started talking about it, to the consternation of my followers...many of which left. But I always promised people that I would tell them my honest opinion even if it's not what they want to hear...unfortunately a lot of people didn't want to hear it! But here we are, and all's well that ends well I guess If I could offer one piece of advise to people is never go too far towards one extreme...the truth is almost always in the middle somewhere. Don't trust people who tell you they've discovered some incredible new revelation...that's a story as old as history itself The point of conservatism is to explain to people that many of the things people think are new and progressive have actually been tried many times before, and failed. There is wisdom in the DNA of our ancestors if we'd only take the time to look back to understand it properly Human history doesn't exactly repeat itself, but it follows a pattern whereby generations fail to understand the lessons of their predecessors...and often in very similar ways

@annbauerwriter I don’t think his sexual orientation is relevant and quite frankly even adding his sexual orientation is offensive and discriminatory. To imply that because he’s gay is normal is very offensive to many gay people who don’t behave like that.

Am I wrong to think that a teacher's entirely private life - in which they do nothing illegal or violent - is off limits when it comes to assessing their job performance? This guy did nothing in front of or near kids. I don't see why his stage performance is relevant.

@annbauerwriter In my 20’s I lived in the “community” and it was fun, but I didn’t publicize my sex life via the interwebs. Those “communities” are more often than not are attached to a lot alcohol and drug induced perversion. “What you do in the privacy of your home is no one’s business”

Ok, there are some good arguments against me here. I see that it's problematic. But I have to be honest, living in a largely gay community in MSP for all those years, I knew a lot of people who did stuff like this. It was unexceptional. (Which I agree is a concern)
