The ODNI is now going to retract the latest Havana Syndrome IC assessment, and release a new assessment that was blocked for many months by CIA Director John Ratcliffe and Bradley Hansel, the Defense Department's Undersecretary for Intel and Security ... Waiting ...

WATCH: During today's Worldwide Threats Hearing, each leader of the Intelligence Community agreed with Chairman @RepRickCrawford that the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) on Anomalous Health Incidents (AHI), which was constructed upon significantly flawed analytic tradecraft, should be recalled.

Breakthrough indeed. Thank u @C__Herridge for relentlessly staying on this story. Journalism really matters to hold govt accountable. Next step- the actual recall of the assessment. And a new one produced, that entails the voluminous intelligence that has been covered up by the IC. And then accountability for those agency officials (both former and those somehow still in senior positions-and Ratcliffe is well aware of this) who caused grave harm to the victims. There r receipts for all of this.

BREAKTHROUGH: On Capitol Hill, in response to questions from intel chairman @RepRickCrawford top intelligence officials confirmed that the Biden-era assessments about Havana Syndrome should be recalled. Those assessments concluded it was very unlikely a novel weapon or foreign adversary was responsible for their debilitating neurological injuries. This significant development comes one month after I exclusively reported that DNI Gabbard's team concluded the Biden-era assessments were defective and should be recalled, but there was internal resistance within the Intelligence Community to releasing the findings. Today the CIA Director @CIADirector said he would defer to @DNIGabbard It is gratifying to see movement on a story where injured US Government personnel have suffered terrible injures as well as the moral wound of a government cover-up of Directed Energy Attacks. Thank you to the whistleblowers who have trusted our independent team with their stories, and continue to come forward. Demanding facts, and accountability so that the US government takes steps to protect its spies, diplomats and military operatives from these life altering injuries.

Good for Rep Crawford to press on this. Now time for IC to act and retract the previous AHI assessments, after every IC chief agreed it should be retracted. @MarkSZaidEsq

@jahimes Crawford asks whether IC AHI assessment should be retracted. Gabbard says "Yes." Ratcliffe: Director Gabbard is reviewing that & I've deferred all AHI investigations to her review, so if, in her judgment, that is something that should be retracted, then I would agree with that.

When @RepRickCrawford asked asked the witnesses whether the current ICA on AHI/Havana Syndrome should be recalled, all but one replied “yes”: @DNIGabbard - Yes @FBIDirectorKash - Yes NSA Director - Yes DIA Director - Yes @CIADirector Ratcliffe - “I defer the decision to DNI Gabbard.” Ratcliffe’s evasive dodge exposes his reluctance to take a stand and highlights the deep internal conflict within the IC over Havana Syndrome. The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) hearing is still ongoing. (March 19, 2026)

Interesting development on Havana Syndrome (AHI) today before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Chairman Crawford asks if the Intelligence Community Assessment on AHI -- which assessed it was "very unlikely" a directed energy weapon capable of causing AHI has been wielded by a foreign actor against Americans -- should be retracted. Gabbard (ODNI), Patel (FBI), Hartman (NSA) and Adams (DIA) all say, "Yes." Ratcliffe (CIA) defers to Gabbard on the issue. NSA director saying "Yes" also hints at NSA's altered assessment from late 2024, lending credence to a foreign actor having or using such a weapon. DIA's investigation into AHI, led by Greg Edgreen, was always more confident Russia was behind this. youtube.com/watch?v=FiRYe3…

Senator Rounds just did something almost no one in Congress has been willing to do. He pressed CIA Director Ratcliffe on Havana Syndrome in an open, unclassified hearing — demanding to know why the government hasn't publicly acknowledged it takes these attacks seriously. Ratcliffe confirmed DNI Gabbard has launched a comprehensive review across the entire Intelligence Community after agencies couldn't agree on whether a directed energy weapon from a foreign adversary was responsible. The IC has spent years dismissing these victims. A Norwegian scientist just proved the weapon works. The Pentagon bought one on the black market. And until today, Congress couldn't even talk about it in public. Senator Mike Rounds just changed that. @SenatorRounds
