Hey @TeamYouTube, I would like to share my case for you to take a look, since you asked to be tagged on the quoted post.
My channel StormXF3 has been demonetized since December 12 2025 for "Harmful Content Involving minors", which recently changed to "Misleading family content".
My content is animations for a +13 general audience, marked as "Not made for kids". The vast majority of my audience are adults.
I would greatly appreciate if you could take another look at my channel...

This isn’t an isolated case.
This is a PATTERN.
Gaming channels. Animations. All hit by the same excuse: “Harmful content involving minors.”
Pure gameplay. No real people. No kids.
So what exactly is being reviewed here our channels or an AI hallucination?

@sweetasyo I'm happy for Narmark, but I also feel sad that we aren't getting the same treatment. I waited over 3 weeks for another rejection... No specific videos listed. All of my tweets and replies tagging @TeamYouTube all got completely ignored. It's not fair man...

He shouldn’t have been banned in the first place.
That was clearly a mistake and I’m genuinely happy for him.
But here’s the real problem:
Why does he get specific videos listed?
Why does he get to talk to a REAL HUMAN so fast?
Why does his channel get fixed almost immediately? BUT US? @TeamYouTube

Good news: I've gotten re-monetized! It was a super confusing experience and I kept getting conflicting information. My advice for those affected: Keep trying to reach out. I got it done by finally talking to a real person at YouTube. Details in comments👇

Hey everyone... I'd like to express my feelings, if that's okay. I really did not expect such a massive amount of attention and kind words from you after I let you know about my youtube demonetization. It's been honestly hard for me to process all of that, between my own negative thoughts of believing I was a failure, and your wave of positivity proving me wrong...
Many of you asked if I have a Patreon to support my channel, I do, but I feel uncomfortable mentioning it, because in my mind, I always made videos for free, therefore, they should stay free. I think that hesitation also comes from a negative belief I've held for years, that my work isn't good enough for monetary support. It pains me to admit that, but it’s the truth. As a result, I relied on ad revenue so that I wouldn't have to ask for anything... But despite that, my patreon started getting support nonetheless. I'm honestly speechless... On one hand, I feel guilty and undeserving, but on the other hand, I feel incredibly grateful.
I just want to say... Thank you. This support means everything to me, especially right now. Each of you is making a difference.

Hey everyone... I got an update on my youtube demonetization appeal. I was able to talk with a partner manager, and they had my channel reviewed by real humans from the Trust & Safety Policy team. Three weeks later I got a response, but they decided to keep my channel demonetized and told me that my videos feature violence with cartoon characters. I just don't understand, nearly all of my videos are slapstick humor... I applied ugly blurs on the very few videos that did have violence, destroying my own artwork to comply, but I still got rejected... Sorry for venting... but I'm just heartbroken right now... I wasted so much time creating an appeal, fighting with automated responses, and then waiting three weeks for another rejection... I'm so sorry everyone... I failed.

When I created my patreon years ago, I ultimately decided to not promote it because I felt guilty for some reason, it just didn't sit right with me... "Why should I ask for money when I have always posted for free?" To me it felt like I would take without providing value... So instead I settled on ad revenue so that I wouldn't have to ask for anything. I also felt for a long time that my work isn't up to standards for monetary support. The negative part of me always said "You're not good enough." But seeing patreon notifications as I'm typing this... I don't know how to describe what I'm feeling right now... Greatfulness? Guilt? I guess I'm just not used to this type of support... Thank you so much...

@StormXF3 @SazerLite I can understand that, I actually only through this post found out you had a patreon. But I think telling people you have something set up to donate to you is a good way to have people, who actually want to help you out, contribute.

It's just that in my mind, I always created videos for free, therefore, they should stay free. I was fine with ad monetization because I wouldn't have to ask for donations. I think it also comes from a negative belief of mine that my work isn't good enough for monetary support. I've felt that way for many years, which is why I never really bothered to ask for donations. I can see notifications of new patreon subs popping up right now, I just have no words... I'm not sure how to feel about this. On one hand I feel extremely grateful, but on the other hand I feel like I'm only taking.

In the past if Youtube had a problem with one of your videos they used to just demonetize it or set it as mature content. Now the automated system just incorrectly flags your video and they demonetize your entire channel. @TeamYouTube What is the point of following guidelines?

Man I just hate being like this in front of you guys, don't want to project my own negative feelings out publicly. @TeamYouTube just won't answer me... Since the appeal button didn't work, I talked with a live chat agent and they submitted it for me before the deadline. But now out of nowhere my case has been closed without mentioning my appeal, no email by the Policy Team. On my Studio page, I don't have anything that mentions the appeal, but instead that the deadline was last friday. 0 views on my appeal video since submission. @TeamYouTube Please, I'm asking you to help me with this situation.

Hey guys, I have sent a very detailed appeal video last friday, but today I got an email that does not mention anything about my appeal! It's just a regular automated notification of my channel getting demonetized! Furthermore, my appeal video got zero views since my submission!
The email I received has the subject line "Re: Requested conversation copy" and was mailed by "cases-outbound-prod". This is very likely an automated closure of my support chat ticket, not a valid decision from the trust & safety policy team. From what I've gathered, it's from a case management system used by agents to manage thousands of tickets. Normally I would have received an email by the Policy Team that would look something like "Update on your YouTube partner program appeal" or "Update regarding your channel's monetization". So yeah, my case simply got abandoned.
@TeamYouTube Please reopen the case and forward the appeal video to an actual policy reviewer. The YouTube Trust & Safety team is required to watch my appeal video.
