Disappointed in Nolan's The Odyssey. Was really looking forward to it, but the casting (Lupita as Helen, Travis Scott as bard, etc.) is completely off for Bronze Age Mycenaean Greeks. Ancient Greeks weren't sub-Saharan Africans. Homer's descriptions, genetics, archaeology—none of it matches. It's modern DEI politics over historical truth. Theory of Everything, Kaspa Edition Okay, not really. But kind of. A reply on a recent post hit a nerve with me. After thinking about why, I realized there is a major part of Kaspa that we have not really covered yet on Kaspa Explained. Price and hash rate are not just market trivia. In proof of work, they connect to fair launch, miner incentives, ASICs, electricity, emissions, sell pressure, holder behavior, and the long feedback cycle that keeps the network alive or exposes its weaknesses. Heavy credit to @Themooseisloos5 here. I’m sure he would credit many others too, but a lot of this clicked for me through constant conversations with him. That is one of the things I love about Kaspa. It could tank and go to zero. The friends, lessons, arguments, and memories from trying to understand it still matter. Anyway, enough sappiness. I recently chatted with @michaelsuttonil about kaspa:native’s upcoming Toccata hard fork. Some of it was genuinely lost on me at first.
