That alone speaks to the legacy he has built inside the Octagon. At this point, the smartest thing he could do is retire while he's still on top. Walk away with your health, save your brain cells, and leave the sport on your own terms. Very few fighters get the opportunity to ride off into the sunset after a victory of this magnitude. Justin Gaethje has always been on of favorite fighters. A warrior respected by fans, fighters, and legends alike. If this is the end, it would be one of the greatest exits the sport has ever witnessed.
