A well-cared for herd of English Longhorn cows in #EppingForest being let back out to graze at Fairmead, following a quick 'MOT' with the team, where feet & horns were checked & batteries in collars replaced if needed. All passed with flying colours as healthy, happy cows.

Lea Bridge Water Works Hackney Water Works. In the 1690s Francis Tyssen installed a waterwheel on the site of a fishery weir at Jeremy’s Ferry. The water raised was piped to a reservoir at Clapton and from there to local properties. These works fell into disrepair but in 1760

On #EastHaleAllotment plotting & planning for 2024 when the ♀#ClendishMarsh Kestrel took a critter from close proximity to the dead hedge we’d built previously. This is why we do it! We ❤️ the wondrous wilds of #TottenhamMarshes #LeeValleyWildlife
