I love building observability pipelines
At @vercel scale completely new problems arise compared to our 1B events/month at Splitbee
→ A single customer can have billions of datapoints week
→ Data streams are at GB/s scale
→ Achieve e2e latency of <5s
→ Durability is key. We should never loose data when the database is down

Geld ist nicht das einzige (oder größte) Problem der sinkenden Geburtenrate. Auch sehr wohlhabende haben weniger Kinder.
ABER: Geld sollte garkein Problem sein.

Stattdessen 25% weniger Einkommenssteuer PRO Kind bis es 18 ist.
Ja, bei 4 Kindern zahlt die Familie keine Steuer, weil sie vermutlich mit einem Einkommen auskommen muss und ein Eigenheim zu finanzieren hat.
Damit ist das Problem vom Tisch.
Keine Förderungen. Keine Mehrkosten. Keine Umverteilung.
Einfach weniger wegnehmen von denjenigen die verzichten und die nächsten Steuerzahler produzieren.

Mal durchrechnen was in BaWü nach der Wahl passieren wird: Paar, beide Anfang 30, kaufen ne Wohnung in Böblingen für 650.000 Euro. Nichts Verrücktes, 85 Quadratmeter, Baujahr 1990. Er arbeitet bei Bosch in Sindelfingen, 75k brutto. Sie ist Erzieherin, 38k brutto. Zusammen netto circa 5.800 Euro. Rate bei 3,5% Zins und 2% Tilgung: 2.950 Euro. Nebenkosten Wohnung: 450 Euro. Zwei Autos weil auf dem Land ohne Auto nichts geht: 600 Euro mit Versicherung und Sprit. Bei 2 Euro der Liter. Lebensmittel, Strom, Internet, Handys: 900 Euro. Bleiben 900 Euro für alles andere. Kleidung, mal Essen gehen, Urlaub, Rücklagen. 900 Euro. Dann kündigt Bosch Kurzarbeit an. Sein Netto sinkt um 600 Euro. Gleichzeitig steigt der Sprit weil Brent bei 110 steht. Strom wird teurer. Lebensmittel werden teurer weil die Lieferketten über den Golf gestört sind. Die 900 Euro sind weg. Kind? Vergiss es. Und dann wundert sich die Politik warum keiner mehr Kinder kriegt. Schiebt’s auf fehlende Kitaplätze. Dabei fehlt kein Kitaplatz. Es fehlen 900 Euro!

Recent kind of related example. I tried building mermaid vs excalidraw diagrams with opus. Both results were good. But excalidraw took significantly longer and is more prone to mistakes because the agent needs to explicitly set x/y coordinates and sizes of objects as the excalidraw json is more level.

To my knowledge agents seem to prefer similar abstractions as humans do. High level helps the agent to focus on the problem at hand and makes it easier to infer behavior.
Also training data maps to previous human preference.

We use human readable programming languages but increasingly stop reading them.
In a few months/years when most reviews will be outcome based instead of LOC, agents will probably switch to lower-level languages instead.

@TweetsOfSumit Json-render is also the opposite direction. It limits what the agent can produce to a certain scope and provides a higher level API with fewer decisions, than e.g. writing HTML from scratch.

How much more will that employee get done on a 10 hour work day?

I want to integrate 4 different "screens" with my SaaS software. They each show completely different data.
What is the best practice here:
a) One plugin and users selects what screen will be displayed in my app.
b) 4 plugins, each needs to be authed and TRMNL handles which should be shown?
Or are both ways viable?
