I’ll admit, I watched an hour of the PGA Tour this morning. Their most glaring problem remains. They think courses like this one are good. Just abhorrent viewing. So boring. The quintessential PGA Tour, American dump. Genuinely 20 better ones in within 3 hours of Melbourne.

@DKgolfsUT Which is the problem. Logistically, coupled with golf technology, not many great courses can host tournaments anymore. But even now with limited fields, they choose to go to bad ones, in saturated markets.

@strosh33 What do you mean? It’s perfect for tournament golf. Easily accessible to a large population plus many potential corporate sponsors plus it’s really hard. That said, it’s not a great daily player or even a good course but the pga tour isn’t about golf course architecture. Der.

Sad to learn of the death of former Moorabbin and Malvern Subbies cricketer Paul Kenrick. He played for Malvern in the unforgettable 2005-06 grand final against Noble Park, when the Roosters crashed to 9-17. Paul and Brett Chard put on 41 for the 10th wicket. Vale Paul Kenrick.
