@Mike_kim714 I played the Blue Monster a few years ago & found that missing the fairways was a killer due to that thick bluegrass rough or whatever grass it is. Several times I knew exactly where the ball went & still couldn’t find until almost standing on it.

Thoughts from Doral: -Up and down week for me. Had plenty of good moments especially round 3. It was a windy day and I played some of the best golf of the yr for a 65. I got it rolling on Sunday but struggled off the tee for a few holes. I hit a tee shot that careened off a metal stick into a bush and that didn’t help either. -I know many complain about how boring of a course Doral is on TV but playing it is definitely different. I thought it was a serious and unique challenge with the number of hazards in play and green designs. 18 is an absolute monster. Holes like 11, 14 were very good I thought. -A little unfair that Cam got to play the other course for 4 days and won lol -First time in Miami. Very cool city with awesome food. Cote Miami was stellar. -But MIA airport is top 5 worst airports in the US. LAX, MIA, ORD, JFK, what am I missing? Def not recency bias -I’ve put up the low round of the day twice in the last two signature events which is def something. Hopefully I can string something for an entire week next couple weeks!

@BjornBookser They cut the rough, and watered the greens big time. When us amatuers play there, we play intougher conditions besides the length off the tees. Which length dosen’t hurt pros

@ItsMediocreDan Makes more sense to bring Solo off the bench. If Mullins is struggling you replace a shooter with another and if Solo is on that night he would bring a much needed spark off the bench. Give him the Rashad Anderson role!

If we can’t trust Solo to be in the game during the final minutes of crunch time, why is he starting over J Ross? No disrespect to Solo, but Hurley clearly thinks having Ross in there is the best way to close a game. Why not start it that way too, then?

Zakai has had a tremendous career. One of the best four year careers in SEC history. Not sure how many of those guys there will be in future NIL era, honestly. As for Rick Barnes, he’s built Tennessee into a top ten program. Not sure how many more years he’ll coach. Don’t feel like he’s underachieved here very often in tourney. If anything, he’s mostly performed to seed. But with NIL now every year is a brand new team. Hard to know what’s next with Zakai and Mashack leaving. And Mizzou and Tennessee remain the most cursed Final Four teams in the country.

NEW: Taylor Swift has sold one of her private jets as she considers suing college student Jack Sweeney for tracking and sharing her whereabouts. Sweeney not only shares locations of celebrities but also their estimated carbon emissions. Swift is now selling her $40 million Dassault Falcon 900LX but is keeping her $54 million Dassault Falcon 7X. The Dassault Falcon 7X has been Swift's primary mode of transportation for her Eras Tour. It is currently unknown if Swift is downsizing or getting ready to purchase a new plane. There is no connection at the moment between Swift selling her jet and her legal threats against Sweeney. Swift was crowned with being the biggest celebrity polluter in 2022. Her team claims that was partly due to her loaning out her plane. Swift's plane trips have allegedly produced 138 tons of CO2 emission. When she traveled from Sao Paulo, Brazil to Kansas City for example, she reportedly used 4,151 gallons of fuel, which is an estimated $23,250 in fuel. That's awesome.
